I've seen some stuff around, just wondered if there was a definite.
Thinking of going one purely for the stam regen.
Do I just need to get bitten and then have the regen?
I don't have to use skills, level it up or ever use it?

✭✭✭✭✭In a nutshell there are a number of changes to make the wolf form more viable (reduced poison vulnerability, increased overall damage resistance, I don't recall if there are other changes), and to reduce the appeal for people who want to be werewolves just for the stamina regeneration (you will only get the regen while the ultimate is slotted).
As a side note in reference to the thread title, you really shouldn't wear wolves. They don't appreciate it, and are likely to bite you.
