What do you think about recieving abitrary speed buffs in towns?

How do unsolicited Rapid Maneuver speed buffs affect you?

It doesn't bother me one bit. There are several skills that automatically buff the players around you, not just Rapid Maneuver.

Since I'm running around anyways, I like that I don't have to spend my own stamina for a cast. The only thing I could do without is when it causes me to draw my weapons. I've heard from others that the sudden burst of speed causes them to run into walls, but I just don't see how that's possible unless you haven't got a good sense of the controls yet.

They should make it self only unless you're in a group and then it's a group buff.

Those that use it have no control over if you are close enough to be affected or not.

The guy singing in Riften (PS4) for coin is more annoying, I would pay to shut him up.

I sometimes wonder if someone is just applying that spell to me as I go by.

Frankly, when it does get applied, I am usually running somewhere I need to be, so it's just fine.

The only thing I don't like about it is if I stand my character somewhere while I am afk, I tend to drop an emote. A BM cast stops the emote and makes me draw my sword so I come back not to a character sitting somewhere or playing a lute or sleeping, but standing there like, "Who wants to die first" and no one is around.

Doesn't bother me. It really doesn't happen that much to affect me in any significant way.

I enjoy the speed boost when running through cities.

I like zipping around towns faster than the normal run speed. It's too bad that this spell buffs everyone outside of Cyrodil. They could update it so that it only buffs more than the caster in Cyrodil. I don't see it happening tho.....

This would work for buffs for sure. Just as long as they don't count healing someone as a "buff". I like to be a hero sometimes when I see someone close to death. I wouldn't want to have to invite them to attempt a heal, lol.

The problem with that, particularly since it's a PvP ability, is that when used in context, you want to apply to all allies around you.

I can't run up the fort stairs without falling at normal mount speed anyway ... so it's a non-issue ...
