However, the poll is benign...like maybe the flaw is lack of search

or no RNG on kiosks, so large guilds stay large and small are likely never to grow to compete (Walmarts of Tamriel)

or players who want their guild choices to matter/no guild have no where to sell

    or...
If options weren't necessary, and everyone played the same way, no one would use addons. Fix the UI!

Or of course, I can still remember a couple guilds that got eaten and are nowhere to be seen these days. I think Bal-mart still does business, though I have no idea where... so... no.

Or... if it's flawed, you could explain why you think so in your post. Novel idea, I know.

This is a poll. Probably none of us think the system is "perfect", thus the vast majority of us will vote "yes, it is flawed". It will be translated then by pro-AH people by saying "see, 95% of players loathe the current trading system". Regardless of what's explained in the comments.

That's why this poll is biased.

I believe that Bal-mart actually disbanded. There's a guild named Bal-busters that have been on Sintafillion in Daggerfall for the past few weeks, and someone told me that they had the same original GM as Bal-mart.

    I went for Maybe.

It's tricky. Many people like the current system. Yes, it is slightly more aligned to those that have more money and have been around longer. The same can be said for any trading environment. Established company will always have more resources and power than the "new little guy" - but of course - everyone likes to root for the underdog.

Now, the main reason for being Maybe is that the individual players, the PVE'rs or RP'rs who wander around the world minding their own business, who want to be alone in the world (which is a surprisingly large percentage) have no way to trade or sell goods/wares. They MUST join a guild.

This is then linked with the fact that anyone like this, will not join one of the power houses out there, as they don't want to HAVE to sell X items, or put in 2k a week donations. So, they pick a smaller guild. The problem now, is that the smaller guild sometimes does/sometimes doesn't have a trader.

And that, is the quandary of the present Trade System.

On a positive note, it appears ZOS is working on portable crafting stations. Good use of time there eh! :(

Ouch. I know one of the Mournhold guilds imploded, though I didn't get the details. Don't remember seeing who picked up the stall, either.

Which might matter if forum polls had any weight, but they don't, they obviously don't represent the playerbase in any meaningful way, so this is basically just another "how do you feel about the trading system?" thread.

Trading text chat for consoles. Wtb/wts. Simple.

Trading chat would be optional meaning if you don't like chat box you can hide it via settings. If you want to buy or sell you can pm each other then group up and make the trade.

For those wanting to sell things over night or whilst not online guild stores would still be available.

People that like the current system will still have it. People not liking the current system will have a new system, people that can't be bothered with either don't have to worry either!! Everyone wins!

Nothing is perfect. But a system that inhibits a player's ability to use functions of the game fundamentally broken.

I like the idea and the role playing aspect of guild traders, but their implementation and time spent trying to find items outweigh those factors.

Not going to say it's perfect, but I'm also not going to vote against the current system, because I like it as it is.

I like how the various traders work 'n stuff. What bothers me personally is that the search filters are pretty lacking. I'd like to just search for certain skill levels for recipes for instance, instead of all of them.

Edit: After coming across the AwesomeGuildStore addon, I retract this statement.
