You're just going to love AD zones then. You can't walk 5 feet without hitting an invisible wall or forced path. DC has the most open zones by far.
Um, but he's talking about one of the AD zones... He's talking about Reaper's March, which means he has most likely already been to the worst offender for this (IMO): Grahtwood.

Overall I like the AD zones, but the "oh you can't get there from here" aspect of them drives me nuts. Especially Grahtwood.

First of all, I'm a she (but that's not that important^^).
    Whoops, sorry :)
Second, yes, Grahtwood was a nightmare for me, too.. only with the 3rd or 4th character I could figure out a way to get around these rocks without a problem. The trick is to either do the nothern half of the zone first, then go to the lower half over the westside of the map and in the direction to Haven again. Or the opposite, do the lower half first from Haven to the west, there lead some paths to the upper half :)
Yeah, on my 2nd or 3rd AD character I figured out that the "correct" way to do Grahtwood is to go West from Haven, and then after finishing the stuff along the coast all the way to the West coast, that's when you start doing the North half of the map. If it's a silver or gold zone for you then you can do it in the opposite order if you like because all of the enemies will be the same VR level anyway, but if you're going through the zone on an AD character the enemies in the South section of the zone are lower level.
Yeah, my bad. For whatever reason, when I read the OP I saw The Rift instead of Reaper's March.
    No biggie :)

Grahtwood's weird, because it expects you to detour to Elden Root, where all the quests will be far over your level, before heading back south, and going to Southpoint.

Of course you both are right, I totally forgot about AD can be low-level zones, too lol
I deleted my AD character a long time ago and only have characters which did AD as gold or silver^^

I'm with you @Moonshadow66. Those walls do a lot to discourage exploration and freedom of play. The only consolation we have is once we 100% a zone there is no reason to go back. Ever.

Personally, I'm anxious to know if Orsonium will have the invisible walls.

Thanks for "being with me" :) Yeah, I'm always glad when it's finally over with all this running around rocks and whatnot. And usually I don't return, except it's a different character which has to go through all that pain again just for an achievement xd
I really hope Orsinium won't have these walls, but I'm afraid it will.. ;)

They are going to pad those walls in an update for when players start to go insane they will feel safer. Oh and they wont hurt themselves either.

    Hehe, that's something, at least^^

I also really dislike those invisiwalls. In most cases, it would have been so much better it they had just plopped down a boulder or something to block some route they don't want us to take... oh, well...

I agree, that would spare us that constant trying to jump up and the disappointment when it doesn't work..

Lol. I made that case here... http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/162266/zos-please-remove-invisible-walls

I'm glad to see this thread getting more traction than mine. This is one of those things that we need to keep bringing up.
What ESO really needs is an Auction Horse.
    That's right... Horse.

I understand the OP's point of view. He's wanting it to be more Skyrim/Oblivion/Morrowind-like and less MMO-like. I have to say in many ways I agree with this line of thinking. The 'slaughterfished' thing annoys me as well. I'd rather they had underwater swimming (Other lower quality mmo's have done it) and actual enemy slaughterfishes attack me. Slaughterfish that could be killed. It reminds me of the stupid Exhaustion zones from SWTOR and I didn't like those either. I'd personally much rather just have a message that says 'You can go no further' than these features, they're just annoying.

I say this as someone who really loves ESO too. Every game has its warts and pimples, and I'd say this is one of ESO's pimples.

In Morrowind you could swim underwater. There were quests underwater, and you could kill those damn Slaughterfish!!Plus when you did kill em,they dropped good stuff sometimes.
