A player can only use one pot per CD since ZOS fixed double pots, and there are already pots to increase flat damage and crit. Along with several buffs, debuffs, dots, and CC effects already in the game. Most of the typical poison effects are already accounted for.

So it sounds like the game mechanics have precedent, that's great.
Now they just need a bit of rebranding and maybe weapon application.

More like the effects already exist attacted to skills and even potions, so it would be superfluous. Why bother reworking something that already ready is in game, just to add a different deliver system.

I don't understand this question. I can't now make a deadly horrible poison and put it on my dagger and stabbity. Why would I not want this?
(No, having a bow with "poison damage" does not fulfill this urge.)

You can't add poison damage with enchantments? There are Glyphs of Poison to put on all weapons.

It just doesn't have that ooey, gooey poison feel, y'know?

Anyone else, when first playing with ESO alchemy, make what they thought was a poison, try to apply it to their weapon, and wind up drinking it?

Yep. I poisoned myself something fierce.

I felt so betrayed.

Only mrskinskull understands me.
