Getting to vet rank in a day is easy either way.

they can just look at the server logs and see, im not interested in proving to other forum members. people that know the exploit won't say anything anyways.

Getting a character from 1 to v1 takes about 8 hours when grped + xpscroll + eso+ openworld. I don´t see and issue with wayrest grind therefor.

As several people have said, proof or it didn't happen.

I can probably get to level 50 and trying to bash Molag Bal's face (assuming no bugged quest) in a week if I had time to sit down and play the game.

The only people that use the wayrest are usually people who are making alts and have already done the majority of the game (most have v14's) so is it really that bad that they don't want to waste time doing quests they have already done?

Step 1: Be level 10.
Step 2: Grab a buddy that is also lv 10.
Step 3: Decide which one will do the healz or spam breath of life.
Step 4: Group up and go to Fungal Grotto Group Dungeon with said 2 man party.
Step 5: Kill some mobs 'till you find the second boss 's room
Step 6: Kill the normal mobs in the room and Disband said 2 man group
Step 7: Repeat steps 4 to 6 for 6~9 hours (varies if you have ESO+, Mara, or Psijic Ambrosia up)
Step 8: End your day with a Vr 1 character.

Some clay Wayrest is also possible, but you do it faster and more effectively in Fungal Grotto since that is easier to unlock

And no, it's not an exploit, it just takes advantage of the fact group dungeons are scaled to group and give exp corresponding to that which should be shared by 4 people. If you manage to 2-man it, of course exp will be better.

I do too, as well. but don't expect me to simply grind spots full of newbz after i'm done with the zone quests and still half a dozen levels away from the next one

Who the f*** cares? It takes 5-10x the time to hit VR 14, so who cares about VR 1 anyway?

But most don't , the dungeons aren't exploits there just game mechanics.

If they patched the dungeon for no reason at all, people would find other places.

That would depend on what level you are to begin with.If you're level 3 it aint happenin.

Zos dose not care at all ..Deltia has had a video up for what more then 2 weeks on how to grind to vet in a day in wayrest and we all know they watch all his..If you don't beleave me go back and count the number of his videos they link on there twitter and facebook pages..

Also on ps4 go into your trophy list and look only 10.1% of the people who have installed the game have reached level 50 its not like its wide spread

Grinding xp isn't an exploit, it's grinding xp. Or are you saying everyone should be forced to quest through all the storyline to lvl up and grinding should be impossible? There is no glitch involved, you kill mobs and get xp.

I don't get people who think grinding for easy xp is an exploit. Almost every single game out there has some sort of short cut or very good farming spot. Even take TES games. Skyrim - People can come out of the tutorial with their weapon skill and sneak maxed; Oblivion you just got your character to run into a corner, use an elastic band to level up athletics whilst you went and did other things. Oblivion also allowed you to suit up your armour, head to the nearest ruin and let rats level up your armour.

ESO would actually be the exception if there was no lazy/quick method to level up.

I've been playing this game for about 3 weeks and I'm only lvl 40. I'm happy with that, I'm going at my own pace. I couldn't really give a flying one if a guy got to vet 1 in 8 hours. It doesn't affect me. It doesn't impact on my game.

This is most definitely not an exploit. Just another way of grinding alts.

Just so you guys know, Deltia leveled one of his alts to vet 14 in 42 hours

I have to agree. Vetran rank 1 is easy and you can continue to get to v14 rather quickly also, But ranks aren't everything in this game. Mages guild 10, Undaunted 10, Fighters Guild 10, skill points and skyshards all take considerable time and if you want a well rounded character you need the passives that these guilds offer. V14 in 5 days... big deal. It doesnt mean you will be good or your character will be balanced. It still is a long jouney to get a top tier character. So why complain to get something else nerfed and make it harder for the people that have played the game for a very long time (16+ months) and are just interested in end game. I dont want to quest for the 8th time with the same quests being repeated once again. Even though Coldharbor is a briliant and awesome zone, I've done it X times too many.

Level up how you want. Believe it not, people get tired of doing the same quest 8 time on 8 different characters

There are people who want to learn every class and play them all efficiently and perhaps in different alliances. I'm sorry, I'm tired of the same damn quests over and over.

This is coming from someone with 6 vr14s, a vr1, and debating my last character slot. I have Cadwell's silver done on 5 of my vr14s, Cadwell's gold done on 2 of them. I refuse to do anymore. I'm tired of it. I'm more interested in having all classes available to me to do end-game content, and also toons in other alliances to play with my friends there.

A lot of players always use what you said as an excuse to state that grinding isn't something healthy for the game, or complain about PvPers grinding, but as someone who PvEs AND PvPs, is good at both, and enjoys this game incredibly and has dedicated a lot of time to it, I have to say grinding should always be an option. Always. It encourages people to play other classes, explore those classes, enjoy them, cycle through end-game content with them, and to stay in the game longer.

I don't understand people who like to grind (because I hate to grind, while I love questing - and don't say "oh when you've done the same quest X times you'll feel differently, because I've got 16 alts, so I've done all of the quests many times). It's really not necessary for me to understand them though - if they want to grind they should be able to grind. As long as it's not a blatant exploit, I say let 'em grind! I'm a lot happier to have them do it in instanced areas like group dungeons too, because that way there's no chance they'll interfere with people who are questing in the area.

I suppose you could say that the dungeon mobs give a bit more xp with 2 people than they should, but you could also say that they give a lot less when there are the recommended 4 members in the group. If you want one side of that equation fixed, I'd say might as well fix the other. Nerfing across the board will just make the 4 man xp even worse than it already is. The issue (if there is one) is the bonus xp for 2 man and the penalties with 3 and 4 added. That mechanic is sloppy and broken.

I make a vet level an hour. Not an exploit, just a grind.

People said the same about the crab grind, ZOS disagreed and patched it as an exploit

You just described a bunch of exploits, calling them the "lazy/quick method" doesn't mean they aren't still exploits.

As long as they aren't exploiting the game to get an advantage in PvP I don't really care. Like, imagine if there was a champion point system that gave you special passives, and whoever farms the most of these points gets a pretty decent advantage in war? Boy would that be nuts! It's ok though. This is ESO. I'm sure we'll be fine.
