Current PTS patch is untestable

so many mitigation and other mathematical errors that its literally just an exploit fest in there. Hot fixes would be greatly appreciated so further testing can be done.

I agree that there are alot of irregularities on pts atm, specially with battlespirit. Whilst I havent bothered playing too much on pts myself, mainly because its so laggy there, many of my mates say the same. If pts was abit more stable etc, id test more to get some specifics posted to the forum.

mitigation is stacking with battle spirit, from the reactive set, mist form, all mitigation ultis...

You mean so you can use them? Here are some just for you.

Use mist form for profit
Use Dawnbreaker of smiting for more profit
Stack mitigation skills that use a % value in the tooltip
Some crazy ulti generation going on, guessing it's the old dance around a nightblade while he saps deal

They know how battle spirit works now. It's not our fault if they adjust all the skills and sets instead.

Not really, I just found the thread insanely vague and it'd probably be so for the devs aswell. You can't fix it if you don't know what you need to fix.

But it's "profit" on the PTS which is meaningless, since it has nothing to do with your live characters. So no one is really profiting, except for the folks who keep it quiet so that it will hit live, and then they can exploit until it's fixed.

All I have to do is read the forums, and I know mist form is bugged, AD templates don't work, and there are all kinds of weird glitches and stacking problems with Battle Spirit. ZOS has even acknowledged a lot of these.

Agreed completely with OP. There is nothing to test at this point. This is like receiving a broken down car from a dealership to test drive. At some point you just hand the keys back and ask them to try again.

There's a certain stamina NB doing 4-5k surprise attacks but taking next to zero damage on pts. They aren't tanking (2h/bow). Is this some mitigation bug on an armour set or something.

armor set and class ability. sorry there was a post on how to get 100% damage mitigation earlier. apparently reading the forums has benefits.

Yeah that was my post. It seem's all the mitigation values are just adding up rather then multiplying. So anything that has damage mitigation is broken. Which has started false claims about armour sets being broken when it is rather the values and how they total.

I think once the cryodil debuff is fixed, having the other values additive is not that big of an issue. Getting a 100% is possible but not gamebreaking since you have to be stunmed under a defensive ultimate (reactive armour + bolstering darkness) .

Armour mitigation should mulitply though. You cant have to many things be additive.

we only have 15 days until live. I'm gonna be holding off my purchase until a week after launch to see the forum posts and videos. if its the same old same old probably just gonna head on to a different game
