Bugged quest or bugged markers? The Lock and the Legion.

Hey all.

Just a quick question/possible bug report for folks like @ZOS_GinaBruno. I am currently on The Lock and the Legion quest line and it's all gone fine up until now.

However, when I am due to bathe a key in acid, I get to where the vat of acid is and I am greeted by this:



No matter how hard I try, I cannot "Use" the vat of acid. I've disabled all addons, relogged, reloaded the ui, even tried on a different PC. I am stuck at this point in the quest and can't progress. This also means I cannot progress past the Elven Gardens district and so the entire Imperial City quest line is blocked to me.

Is this a known issue? If so, how can it be fixed or is there a work-around?

I'm having the same issue. Will make sure to have a look around the room and check everything else out, but it does seem to be an interaction bug.

When I took these screenshots I tried everything interactable. The whole room works perfectly except the vat of acid. The quest marker itself also seems slightly off-centre on the vat of acid, not sure why that would be!

Hopefully a response comes soon as this is a huge issue, one step that completely stops IC questing is a problem that needs fixing.

In the meantime, do you know if there's any workaround? It gates access to the quests in the other districts so is there any way to bypass this? Perhaps by abandoning the quest and "rolling" a new one, like in Cyrodiil repeatables?

If not, no worries! I will just wait until next week. .

Abandoning the quest your own won't have any bearing on whether the object will be clickable or not sadly. You could try doing the quest at a later time if it's currently stuck for you, but there's no workaround at this time to foricbly make them work when they're in a broken state.

Next week though, should be all fixed!
