I have screenshots but they're on my other computer. Anyway, here's the values:
Monumental Glyph of Prismatic Defense (v16, provided in template pack)
Adds 434 Maximum Magicka
Adds 477 Maximum Health
Adds 434 Maximum Stamina
Compare to:
Monumental Glyph of Health (v16)
Adds 954 Maximum Health
Monumental Glyph of Magicka (v16)
Adds 868 Maximum Magicka
Someone who is better at mornings than me can do the maths.

Agreed. My tank setups tend to be fairly balanced (with an emphasis on health). I'm going to have to do some serious thinking about how to best make use of Prismatic enchants and whether some of my attribute points need to be moved.ztyhurstub17_ESO wrote: »I am actually excited to use these on my DK tank. Well, the value is three times half. They do make sense if you have an even split in enchants.
For a magicka build: for every health enchant you have, it makes sense to replace that health enchant and one magicka enchant for two prismatic, because you end up with the same magicka and health but get the equivalent of one stamina enchant free, provided you use the same grade of slot (two major or two minor).
For stamina builds it's the same but with a free magicka enchant.
Magicka builds gain additional break-free/blocks/dodges without losing main resource and stamina builds gain more use from class utilities. You still lose on efficiency if you do use only resource enchants, ofc.
Very true. I just meant that using prismatic enchants on a char that went 62 in one stat and uses exclusively enchants boosting that one stat (you know, magicka sorcs) will not benefit from them. Everyone with a split of stats and enchants will be able to use them to gain something without losing anything. And hybrids that are actually based on both resources equally will reap most benefit from them.Well, the value is three times half. They do make sense if you have an even split in enchants.

It goes much further than that, actually. In theory you can use these enchants because they are supposed to be more efficient than regular ones and redistribute your stats in other places, resulting in an overall stat increase without any losses.
However, I still have to do the math wether they actually are more efficient than regular enchants for my own builds, since the enchantments are effected by passives etc.
