when it goes LIVE::: are we going to be v14 or v15?

When IC patch goes live are we all going to be V14 or has the game been tracking out EXP and some of us will be v15 at the start?

Day 1 on PTS my main which I had not played much at VR14 was 17% into VR14, which seemed about right. Saw a lot of players who were already VR15. So yes, at some point they started tracking XP after VR14, but I don't think it was until one of the major updates, 1.4 or 1.5?, that they started doing that. It only took 3/4 of the IC District quests and a week of evenings street fighting to get to VR16.

If they had been keeping track of XP, I would be VR30 by now...

If you have been v14 for a while because of their reduction of exp needed, 1 mil to 850k you will now start at v15 with 150k towards v16

I came in to PTS at Vet15, and then some, I expect the same would happen after the change. I did build a new VET player just to see what armor and perks he would get...........he started at VET14

I would expect us to be v14, they never let you convert over. I imagine pts puts your char to 15 to make it easier to test new gear.

If you have been VR14 for a while you needed 4 million XP for VR increase.

It was only later nerfed to 1 million... and now even less.

Apparently the game was too demanding...

Considering the CP system tracks our XP, ZOS certainly has the data to do this.

I think we already know the answer, but glad it's being asked still.

If you've been VR14 for a while, you'll be 150k into VR15.

When you hit VR14, it still tracked your next million XP to 'VR15' even though the bar showed maxed.

The 150k is what's left over after the reduction in cost to 850k/VR level.

On PTS my main was V15 plus some (didn't pay that much attention). She's been V14 since January.

This was true on the PTS, but we don't know if this was a bug or not. They've not confirmed this, to my knowledge.

When I logged into the PTS for the first time I was showing as a V15 and already had 150K experience towards V16. So it will be interesting to see when this goes live what happens.

Our VR14 bars are already full so wouldn't that mean we have 1 exp point till VR15?

I personally hope so. I really don't want to grind v14 to v16 on 3 different V14 toons I have been playing for the longest time.
