Upgrade material cost increase?

Hello all,

Has anyone had a chance to make a V15 and V16 item yet? I am wondering if the upgrade materials will still be at normal levels or have been increased for V16 items.

@ZOS_GinaBruno, @ZOS_JessicaFolsom could we get information on the number of upgrade materials required for V15 and V16 items please?

It's actually been confirmed in several places, particularly in this thread:

It will take 15 mats to make each piece of V15 armor/weapons.
It will take 150 mats to make each piece of V16 armor/weapons.

The bonus is only slight and in line with all the other bonuses for armor/weapons. No 10x increase to go with the 10x mats.

He is talking about upgrade materials like tempers. I am interested in this question also.

ah... no clue.. don't really care because the grind to get the V16 armor has turned me off of the whole thing will wait for orsinium to upgrade armor.

I crafted this VR15 heavy chest piece, took the same 8 tempers to make it Legendary. The bonuses are the same because the Legendary status controls that. I crafted and applied a VR15 glyph.

Awesome, thank you for the information. Hopefully V16 will be the normal upgrade mats as well.
