Should the poisons in this game be applied to weapons?

    Yes, but only certain weapons should have poisons applied to them (explain which weapons and why below)
    But question. What be the point? As we all know DoTs are horrible and adding more poison to a weapon wouldn't do jack cause a potion along can health through it.

    They don't have all have to be DoTs. Certainly some should be but some could do flat damage. Not all of them have to be purely health damage either. Draining magica or Stamina has it's uses. There could be other effects such as frenzy, fear, stun, silence, healing reduction, armor reduction and so on. There's a lot of possibilities and many new avenues of gameplay that could be opened if done right.

    Aye, this is more or less the same thing I'm thinking and would be a fair trade off.

    Would be nice to have ground targeting throwable poisons as well. For general use and to offset not being able to coat staves. If you can't slather your weapons in viscous ooze, you should at least be able to throw it at someone, lol.

    No, poisons should not be applied to weapons in game.
    This option felt a little lonely.

    I'd wager that they wont add poison crafting, because it would disrupt certain skills and affect the overall balance of the game. My arrow does poison damage from the skill, and poison damage from the poison I applied to the weapon.
