Skill Reset with 2.1

We have had in the past before a really cheap respec for a period of time after a major game system change. We did not get this with the Champion System intro and it could have really been used then.

They are actually going to refund all of our skill points with the assumption we have recorded our build somewhere outside of the game? A free respec scroll mailed to all players sounds like a better idea.

Cool! I asked if this was going to happen a while ago!

When is 2.1 coming out? I want to make sure I play non-stop and get as many skill points in to my toons before then so I can totally change them when it happens.

The reason I say that instead of a scroll in the mail is because either you get that scroll and only 1 character can use it per account, or every character on your account gets a scroll in the mail, which they don't accept, and suddenly you can have 1 main and 7 mules at level 3 with all 8 free respec items going to the main. A UI function in this regard would moderate the use of per-character respeccing.

So, the update is here and of course everything's been reset. That's one of the things I hate most about this game. No quick jump into it tonight to just kill a couple of things as even skeevers may be too strong for a VR13 with now no skills and character points set.

And of course, it's been several weeks since I last played the game, I haven't got a clue what all the skills were that I had, or how I had the character points set. And what about the champion points, have these been reset as well? If not, then how come they can keep those, but not keep all the rest?

Anyway, I think today's my last day as a Plus member. Guess what? No, I am not going to add money to this bottomless pit anymore. I can't even get to the account page with any of my Firefox browsers due to a security error, the authenticity of the site cannot be verified, so they're not even going to try to make contact to the site. I've reported that well over a month ago, apparently ZOS thinks it isn't necessary to fix.

So sad.

This would be better, since, as with every respec, its always possible to 'miss click' in the act and place points into something you had not intended to. When leveling/gaining skill points over time each point is carefully placed, but when you have a mass u want to 'max' skill lines and move on asap, its VERY easy to actually pick the wrong bloody skill and 'max' it before you even realize you just did so (Example, me with crafting accidentally maxed the 'spotter' passive rather than 1 point)

A respec scroll with a 1 week time limit (upon opening mail) would be more than fair. This way one can't 'bank' scrolls for cheap respec's later, but anyone and everyone has the chance to respec when(if) they want.
