Damage to gear in Imperial City

If you're going to mix PVE and PVP in the same area then don't punish the PVE players by having mobs trash their gear in preparation for getting ganked by a pure PVP player in pristine gear. Imperial City should be a no need to repair zone.

    Maybe he can't, doesn't make his point any less valid.

    Besides its closer to 500g/hr in my experience if your mixing things up in the sewers with a small group.

    Damage to gear is based on XP earned, not AP as you might be used to. If you go and grind out a delve in cyrodiil the xp earned is going to trash you gear.

    Along with XP you also get the trash gear drops from the PVE that will be used for decon of the v15-v16 mats, that more than outways dying and loosing TV stones to another player. Those mats will be worth 1000x more than the price of repairs, and you have a option to carry repair kits if you are really worried about being at a disadvantage to pure pvp gankers. Currently you only loose stones when you die from pvp but a hardcore version might have you loose everything on you, risk reward weighted options are always fun. This is also the way the justice system is supposed to work once it's fully implemented. Each campaign is going to have different rules, perhaps ZOS will have a hardcore version with better drops and a carebear version where you only loose a fraction of TV stones to other players. They did hint at this in that last live stream.

    I've farmed Tel'Var stones for about 3 hours for testing 8k boxes. I had to repair 2 times for 2k gold. Gold is not the main problem.

    The problem is, when I had 3-4k Stone in my inventory and was going base with my equipment damaged to 0 I've met an opposite faction player who tried to kill me. Thx Atronach's stun, shields and blinks I could get out of there. But with almost 0 armor it was really painful and I was close to lose all my stones. If only I had my armor repaired...

    But since you can repair with Repair Kits in any place, I don't think ZOS will do smth with this problem.

    From today's PTS patch notes.

    "Armor will no longer lose its value until it reaches zero durability. At zero durability, they still grant zero armor."

    I think this is an acceptable compromise. Nice little buff for questing PVE players as well.
