PTS EP School Daze Quest partially broken

I created a new VR Template Ebonheart Pact Templar on PTS for The Imperial City testing.
Since my character does not yet have a weapon I've been exploring several Quests while searching for a weapon and levelling my toon. One of the Quests in progress is School Daze. Two of the three quest objectives are complete. However I accidentally activated the water orbs by the large lake out-of-order
before reading the quest-objective related book, which I have in my Inventory.
At this point I cannot reset the water orbs. I tried clicking E to activate each in the proper order, but this has no effect :'( and the crocodile does not appear, causing a broken quest.
How do I reset the orbs or abandon the quest so I can proceed in the proper order and complete School Daze? I have not had a chance yet to submit a /bug report or mail Support Request, reasoning it might be better to post this here, both as PTS feedback and for assistance.
