I think this would be fun, but we should only be able to steal items that have not been laundered. Maybe even put some type of mist around someone to identify them as someone carrying stolen items. Kinda like how the fighters guild skill works with vampires. Just make a similar skill that must be on the bar to get the visual effect.

Hmmm, maybe this is how ESO will implement the Thieves Guild. Level up by pick-pocketing players and NPC's. Even better is if the Dark Brotherhood has a similar system where you PK other players after a contract is put out on them.

Never! I carry almost all my valuables on me because my bank is full of crafting mats (179/180 slots). If I were to ever get robbed of any of my valuables I would rage harder than I do when I play CoD on a 2 bar.

Only place I see this working is in a full loot open pvp game. Not saying it's a bad concept, just wouldn't work in the confines of the ESO world.

This would be interesting, but there would have to be a cap on the gold. As far as pick pocketing items, I do not agree. I can see a level 1 having all legendary items without stepping foot out of the city.

Maybe. But only if we* may kill them, with complete impunity, when they are browsing in our inventory.

* We: 'We' as in all the people and thus not limited to the victim.

Not much feels better as a complete gang hurting a singled out criminal.

IRL we are not allowed to do that, but we all fantasize about it.

IMHO, we should be able to kill any criminal when their justice meter isn't zero. It would provide PvP everywhere.
