Healer newbies problem

I am at lv46, templar class and use restoration staff. My problem is how should I set up the active abilities? And the ultimate Rite of Passage worth the investment? I am currently running Spear Shard, Ritual of Rebirth, Radiant Aura, Extended Ritual and Rune Focus. Ultimate is Solar disturbance.

As a templar healer use Breath of Life it is absolutely the best heal in the game by miles and miles and miles and miles ..... Get rid of Ritual of Rebirth and forget it exists. BOL is all you need.
Rite of Passage is an extremely situational overhealing mess.

My healing/Dps setup.
Bar1 -Destro -Reflective Light - Structured Entropy (Or Extended)- BOL-Repentance -Inner light-Solar Disturbance.
Bar2- Resto -Blazing Shards(will change it next patch)- Rapid regen -BOL- Extended Ritual- -Inner light-Solar Disturbance.

Now I look into wiki more, breath of life is certainly better, don't know why I missed it. Also, repentance consume one corpse at a time or just use up all in a single cast?

hello, i have an healer too and my heal bar with resto is like this > mage light, entropy, mutagen, breath of life and heal springs and ulti shoot star or nova hope it help you...but in my opinion do not copy paste a build u find somewhere use the build wich fits u and your play style!

All of them. The ability to give a free stam boost to your tank/ DPS and free heal is very nice and will become even better in the next patch.

Seems like mage light and entropy are the to go choices.

Yes, it is very handy for when you have lots of enemies and they're falling relatively quickly in battle. Just be liberal in its use and do so during battle as the enemies fall if need be. I know it sounds obvious, but I say this because I see all too many fellow templars use it predominately at the end of battle, and I wonder why, because at that time it is basically useless.

My bars look very similar to those of PBpsy. Some skills I change for different content.

But you should not only ask yourself (and others) which skills are used, but also why. This gives you the opportunity to make changes, so it fits your needs.
Inner light (morph of mage light) gives you more magicka, more crit %.
Structured entropy (morph of entropy) gives you more health, a DoT attack and extra spell dmg. You can get the spell dmg boost also by using potions.

And the healing ultimate is nonsense. Don't use that. Learn to heal without it
