So Today 8/2/15 at about 8pm EDT AD was retaking Alessia back from DC. Some guy who wasn't in any of the AD groups rushed in and grabbed the scroll just before it was flipped and proceeded to run it towards the blues. We followed asking him in zone chat and tells what the hell he was doing. He didn't respond to us, and the blues didn't attack him but did everything they could to slow us down. When he was finally too far away from us to pick it back up he stopped and they killed him and got the scroll. Only after I told him that I reported him did he respond by calling me names and admitted that indeed he was a DC player running an alt with the express purpose of helping DC recapture the scroll. He even bragged about being the best DC player on the NA server. One has to wonder how good someone really is if they need to cheat to achieve their goals. He then proceeded to tell me that it happens all the time and there wasn't a damn thing we could do about it but only after he heaped some more abusive language on me.
People who do this *** need to be banned!!! Griefing is not allowed according to the rule laid out by ZoS. But since ZoS couldn't be damned according to him he will escape punishment. But I'm sure is I named and shamed him on the forums my ass would feel the ban hammer double quick.
Or maybe AD can stop nightzerging the map and causing haderus to have to be remade into a competitive situation EVERY GODDAMNED DAY
I have no sympathy for anything that happens to AD on haderus, and in fact i find it hilarious it wasnt me. I used to do stuff like that, just to *** off the zergball, because screw the zergball.
Really if AD only night zerged then why did we have an Emp who was crowned for 3 days? Also since you were not there I'll inform you the *** didn't need to do what he did given just 10 or 15 more minutes there was a good chance that Team Purple would have taken both the keep and the scroll as is. What was really going on is that the blues were mad that 24 people repulsed their 40+ man zerg 3 time in less than a hour and that someone who didn't intend to ever be Emp but lucked into it was crowned for 3 days. Also we don't night zerg we flip them with our morning coffee with our EU friends assuming we have to flip them at all because they were still in our possession from prime time the night before.
You must seem to think I havent been around on Haderus much. Fact is I have been on Haderus since the campaign launched a year ago, without leaving. I play there every day. So I will give you a quick breakdown of what actually happens on Haderus on a daily basis (especially in the last month)
8am EDT - The server is all yellow from a night of nightcapping by OMFG and company, they had about 2 blues defending and maybe 4 reds, they ran with a 20-30 man group, good times, felt just like PvDoor except when Rylana oiled them and got a few kills before getting absolutely obliterated 20 on 1 on the back flag.
11am EDT - The euro players in DC and EP get home from work/school etc, and start to do some skirmishing up north, Kings/Farra and maybe Rayles/Warden flag and get crushed a couple times, one keep might flip for a while, usually nothing really happens until about 3pm, but sometimes the day crew has a few keeps by the time the primetimers log in.
5pm EDT - Prime time begins, pops jump to 2 bars across all factions, keeps up north all fall red or blue within the next hour as the AD are overwhelmed and their usually garbage emperor does literally nothing but flail uselessly with a tank spec or is a ganker nightblade off trying to hit transit lines. Everything up to Alessia and Roebeck is taken, and usually by now either Roe or Alessia is sieged. A scroll may even be in play
8pm EDT - Yellows hit the panic button and the entire Azuras/Thorn zerg masses to poplock, With only Alessia left, the entire faction stacks inside of the keep, 50-100 deep depending on the day and how many pugs are pulled off to the inevitable scroll takes that happen for the next two hours. Meanwhile yellows pour out towards sejanus and Nexus farms them happily at the bridge for the next two hours.
10pm EDT - Blue and red reach three bars, sometimes locks, and the server is starting to lag horribly due to the battle for alessia. In a desperate attempt to find PvP that isnt a slideshow, some Reds and Blues start skirmishing up north around bleakers and chalman. Nexus retires for the night, full of AP and happy. The Alessia bridge dam breaks and sej and BRK are flooded by over 50 AD just zergballing north, sometimes this number can top 70 in a single mass. The 20-30 EP left defending BRK are completely overwhelmed and BRK falls. Blue either takes Chalman, or Red takes Aleswell at this point, further igniting the north front. No help will come south.
Midnight EDT - Blue has committed north fully, and yellow quickly recaps Roe, Ash, Brindle, and possibly even Glademist (since they were completely stopped at Arrius like they always are, Yellows cant take Arrius for the life of them I swear). Blue is starting to wind down for the night, pops are now Locked AD, 2 bar DC, 2 bar EP. Prime time is over. AD will start to taper off in the next hour or two, but not before being farmed for the duration at Chalman or Arrius (BRK might even be retaken now that the fight up north has started to wind down)
2am EDT - Blue is done for the night, only the red Aussies are left. GoS might still have a capable force on, or if Zaz is around a full raid might prevent the nightcap, but has no real chance to make any headway vs the still 3 bar pop AD. EP and DC have dropped to 1 bar.
5am EDT - Reds have mostly retired for the night, the AD nightcrew of 30 people begins cleaning up the map, taking absolutely everything, every resource, everything.
Repeat tomorrow.
There is literally only PvP on Haderus from about 5pm EDT until midnight, and thats if its not lagging so badly that skills stop working.
Hopefully the guesting blobs will just go away, and you can stop acting like its your groups that do ANYTHING. Without the Deciblob and TKzerg there to bail you out in prime, youd lose the map every single night. As it stands the only time DC and EP have anything even resembling numbers, AD simply calls in everyone from everywhere and ensures all progress ends, is reversed, or else the lag just ends it anyway.
So dont be a revisionist. the above has happened every single day for the last month (with a few exceptions when LoM or GoS have had night crews to shut down your overnighters, usually when one of them had emp and were defending it vs the OMFG crew)
This post is irrelavent
Really now? I was there on the AD side of things and from my point of view, there was absolutely nothing "interesting" about the whole thing.CitraBenzoet_ESO wrote: »It makes things interesting.
He purposely ran the scroll into a huge zerg of DC players that was (very conveniently) waiting for him at the farm. Quelle coïncidence!
So I guess a certain DC guild has taken it upon themselves to use the double mundus exploit to their advantage as every one of them in their group is running it at the moment...obviously I can't name them as it is shamed upon by ZoS but it's really pathetic when they have to cheat in order to gain a competitive advantage over other players

If this was what we were talking about before I got off of ts, it was a certain red guild
