So firstly I love the Imperial City. If I had to describe it I would say its Gears Of War Horde Mode meets Call of Duty Meets ESO. Its fantastic. The fast paced constant fighting PvP I always wanted. The Imperial City itself is amazing. The different districts and the possible strategic uses that all these buildings and gaps and dead ends all have are mind blowing. There are also quite a few things I do not like and/or should be adjusted.
So far I'm absolutely fed up of killing people who are fighting other PvE monsters (lets say for example the 2.3million health Clanfear bigger than my house) and you kill them and then the aggro from that monster is transferred to you. Its stupid and annoying. So then I'm being chased by the super boss and its adds and there's no corner to turn to because there are WAY TOO MANY NPCs everywhere. Okay ZoS we get the point. Molag Bal's forces have over run the city but WOW there's not 15ft without an NPC. Your only safe if your a Nightblade. Breaking the boundaries of PvE and PvP and bringing them together is awesome and fun but it's just a little too much. Also I believe the aggro radius should be decreased in the Imperial City. Not how close you have to be to aggro something more like how far way you have' to be so it stops attacking you. I'm fed up of having 10 NPS on my back and then 3 EP find me. Thats always fun! ;/
I do not like the fact that you lose all your Telvar Stones the second you die. Its a risk .Yes. Its all apart of the process.Yes. This is gonna cause people to do one of three things. People just are not going to play Imperial City.
1) There are a lot of people on this game who do just 3-4-5 man groups and when they come across a full 24 man raid and they are most likely going to lose all the their stones they will just get fed up and not play. I can name 5-6 guilds who mainly run full 24 man groups for hours on end. It did not matter before if you got killed by these groups before but now you lose everything you have been earning AGAIN promoting more zerging.
2) In relation to reason 1 PEOPLE WILL ZERG MORE so they don't lose their stones
3) People will be forced to constantly to go to the bank every 5 minutes to go and deposit their stones. More and more loading screens. More and more time wasted. People don't want this. They want constant action.
A solution to this would be to make it so you only lose 10% of your stones every time you die or a set amount. I'm going only want to zerg around to get my Stones and my gear for the first few weeks so i don't run the risk of losing them. Please don't allow this ZoS.
A few Class Notes ( Have not tested NB or Templar yet )
DK. I'm not saying let me permanently block but OH MY GAWD 0% Stam regen while blocking is the biggest nerf I can think of in this game. DK's rely on it. All I can say to this is either revert it back to normal, make it 50% less regen OR balance this out with every other class.....Like Nightblades don't gain resources while cloaking or Sorcs don't get magika regen while they have a shield active. THIS IS WHAT 0% STAM REGEN WHILE BLOCKING IS EQUIVALENT TOO. Just because noobs who have no idea how to kill a DK who is blocking does not mean you have to nerf this!
Sorc
I still feel pretty strong on My Sorc. My 32k Max Magika build gives me 11k Shield still. 20k Shields with Annulment. There is also some sort of longer pause when streaking now. I find this very annoying and huge nerf to be honest. There was always that milisecond cast delay when streaking but now it feels like half a second which is everything in PvP.
Obviously night blades are the stealthy class, assassins etc.....Using cloak through 20 PvPer's did not really matter before how ever why should every other class be punished by aggro'ing 50 NPC's while a NB can just glide through them? Can we give these NPCs an increased detection buff or something?
Templar Stamina Jabs - Currently in live they are crazy OP and Strong. They can take most people from 100% health to 20% or all the way to 0. They can still do this in the PTS. My DK build is 20k Phsyical resistance and people can still put me from 24k Health down to 4k health with one biting jabs. ITS CRAZY.
Lastly! My thoughts on the damage reduction. STUPID IDIOTIC AND LAZY! Sorry ZoS to be so abrupt and rude but it's the truth. Instead of reducing the damage on skills that do way too much damage you decide to just nerf all damage? Do you even comprehend how much this is gonna promote even more zerging? My 12 Man groups wont be able to kill 30 people any more even though we have the most skill and they just have numbers. Before it was our time, effort, skill, sets and co-ordination that us allowed to kill groups that out numbered us. Now with less damage being taken it's going be easier for them to survive. It's learn to play issue's not mechanic issues/ BRING BACK ACTUALLY DAMAGE!
