Boost Warewolf... Simple :-)

LotusBladedancer
As of the patch notes, it will make it pointless to become a Werewolf - Long time to transform, too sort a duration and lacking decent damage compared to non-transformed state, not to mention it is a death sentence to even attempt to become a Werewolf in pvp.

I say boost the Werewolf, make it worthwhile to actually transform, rather than be useful only for those serious roleplayers, Vampires have some amazing abilities Werewolves can only dream of :-(

    I agree.
I saw a big vampire boost and werewolf nerf.
Werewolf Transformation needs to work like sorc's Overload. But then all towns will be occupied by wolves.

The werewolf still has its issues, but I'm positive most that post threads like this are clueless..

I've been using WW since launch(was one of the first bit on NA). Back then, the Transformation was 100% useless outside of lulz. However, that hasn't been the case for awhile. In live I use WW all the time and successfully 1 shot most during the initial transformation fear, while wearing the salvation set(so you don't need to completely stack weapon damage to achieve it). Howl of Agony spits out instant cast ranged Wrecking Blows with a 30% damage modifier on feared targets.. Let that sink in before you say the WW is "lacking decent damage". There's also a cp passive called Exploiter that adds another 10% damage, since your feared targets become off balance. So.. yea..

In the PTS, you can no longer 1 shot, but the WW is still very much useful(small scale, not zerg). I've been enjoying the WW more in the PTS since I can actually fight people now instead of it being "1 shot or be 1 shot".

yeah I've been wrecked by that howl of agony a few times myself and they are getting an armour and spell resist boost I think ww will be great on the pts. They are definitely in a better spot then vamps right now on pts

I would like to be able to transform myself without losing 80% of my life, but yes ww is fun when you are successfully transformed.

The problem is, stuff takes longer to kill BUT the WW timer did not get any increase...so WW will suck

No fire Hydrants in IC. No wagon wheels. I didn't see any cats.Improve the transformation time as you can get jumped in the IC rather quickly regardless of your situational awareness.Oh and they have a leash law so If the guards catch you with no leash its bad doggy !!

Oh dear, you seriously trying to compare the usefulness of slotting either the WW ultimate (a very short transform) or Clouding/Devouring swarm? Seriously??

And as for your PvP small scale fight, every Werewolf I have seen - including myself - as soon as you transform you will attract poison arrow from every half decent player - Survivability is next to laughable.

Oh yeah, you may get the occasional newbie who has no clue when they see a Werewolf, but to everyone else... Ohh Werewolf, what a noob :-) poison arrow please and thanks for the kill.

Vampire and Werewolf are curses and a feature, not a free mandatory bonus that everyone must have.
If you don't intend to use them, it is normal that you don't catch them or cure them.
They're meant to be uncommon compared to uncursed people, not the other way.

That's fine, as long as they are both balanced, Werewolves get screwed over while Vamps get a reduction in fire damage... So the question is, if you are not going Vamp, why not? Unless for role play reasons...

Really hope zos will take that into consideration, waiting to see what the next update will change.

The werewolf weakness is also reduced from 40% to 25%.
You may suggest balance improvement for werewolf form or vampire skills.
Wanting them balanced so that they're not mandatory nor useless is a nice goal.

But keep in mind that they each have their own identity.
They are not meant to mirror each other. If it was just "magicka curse" versus "stamina curse" it would be an impoverishment.

Vampirism is a curse spread firstly by Molag Bal, through sacrifice, blood, ***, and suffering, a deadric prince known for his whole unhearted regards towards the living and his love for torture. It bring people near undead state, changing their bodies, warping their mind to some point too, bringing the blood thirst. A continuous state.

Werewolfism is a curse spread firstly by Hircine, made for the thrill of the hunt. A deadric prince of no evil nature (but nor a good nature). A hunter who hide unseen between its preys, with the ability to reveal itself when the chase time come.

The changes to the passive a for both are an irritant.

Werewolf is an ultimate and you only have two ultimate spots to unlock the passive bonus. The times in werewolf is way to short, personally I would prefer werewolf being a regular power. Not to mention werewolf needs a cleanse ability added to its fear howl or it's healing howl to strip poison dots or the umpteen other afflictions you can't manage in ww form.

Vampires; loose skill point invested passives for not slotting the ability. Hmmmm, I don't see a patch that said your vampirism stages don't progress if you don't have an ability slotted or you don't take extra fire damage if you don't have an ability slotted.

Not very consistent and it's a trade vampire beats werewolf on, again because at least with vampire you have access to an really great ultimate ability, a self heal, or essientily a dmage mitigation shield.

I'm a relatively new alas players but these changes in my opinion are poor and again favor vampire.

I would like to see werewolf more useful, longer to non-capped transformation periods, and devour being a buff
