Imperial City Districts controlled

This is just a suggestion, I find the districts as just another place to PvP, but with no objective. It would be interesting to have x amount of flags per district with faction guards to control a flag and lock out enemy factions from just climbing a ladder to the district. A faction would have 1 districts they could climb a ladder to at all times even if it is controlled by an enemy faction. Still have the respawn point, but only for players who have died in that district. It would make things more interesting instead of player just going to a district because the fight is there. Maybe even add buffs (Scary word) per district owned. What I have found is if you aren't questing in the area it is just a respawn point close to eachother for players to kill eachother over and over and over and over. In other words, it gets old fast. I would like to hear some thoughts on this and remember this is a suggestion so add yours here to improve IC PvP.

That's not a bad idea. I feel like it could somehow be used in combination with some of the ideas for a faction controlling access to Imperial City. Like maybe in order to control a district and put your guards on the ladder you have to control the corresponding keep outside the city. That way there's an incentive to not ignore the war outside the city, but at the same time, even if you control all of the keeps surrounding the city all it does is give your faction an advantage inside the city (because you can use all of the ladders freely while the other alliances can't without getting whooped by guards), and it doesn't cut the other alliances off from getting into the city - they can still get into their base in the sewers, and they can still get out through the one ladder they have that can't have enemy guards on the exit.

    I don't know, I'm just spitballing.

District control (with buffs) was a system that they had already considered, but it was scrapped. A shame really, as it would have been some good objective-based PvP.
