PS4 two patches behind Xbox?

Hi, I'm just curious on if anyone knows why the PS4 is still at patch 1.04 when the Xbox has just been updated to 1.06 and also 1.05 last month? No new patch notes on the PS4 either but I presume most if not all the fixes for the Xbox will be the same.

Different bugs between the two systems. Sometimes there are more patches required for one system as opposed to the other. The only thing you really have to be concerned with is what changes or additions to the game are coming. And the Xbox One current patch notes state v1.0.0.6, and the PS4 patch notes state v01.04

Maybe they are saving up for another 15 gig patch on Ps4. We may get one mother of a patch like they did the last time. 86 hours to download unless you start and stop/babysit the download.

Completely different numbering systems between the platforms.

XBOX is at 1.0.0.6 (not 1.0.6) while PS4 is at 1.04 and will probably be at 1.05 tomorrow. This will come back to bite them, but they like that sort of thing.

Doesn't really matter because each system has the same game. Their might just be more bugs reported on Xbox that required an extra few patches is all.

Yeah I figured as much. The 1.04 patch notes are pretty much identical to the Xbox 1.05 patch notes so I'm hoping there will be many fixes included plus a niggling one that has bothered me which is the "adjust screen" option not saving. I know it is minor but there is always hope, and that dam animation bug where you stay in a leap ani or shield rush ect and can't do anything except move around.

I saved many recordings of this bug, but thanks for the comments anyways people.

If this is true then the Xbox has received two patches while the PS4 has only had one since release and that was the famous 15gb patch.

The numbers do not really mean anything to us. I am not completely sure what they mean to ZOS since they can make the numbers whatever they want. My advice is to not try to compare patch numbers across platforms.
