ATTENTION Z, this guild bidding system is infuriating

I would like to address 2 issues

1)Well just signed on this morning to find that 125K was not a high enough bid even in the smallest most remote place i can find. This just dropped my excitement level for this game ten fold. Its so infuriating that i am considering quitting any involvement with bidding if it stays this way.

im sure has been discussed but current bidding system for a guild trader needs to be altered in some way shape or form. Now im not saying create an auction house, however It seriously sucks that you are unaware if you become out bid or if you just placed a bid that is already to low... You sign on monday and find out youve been over bid and cannot have a store the whole week.

To accept bids that are under an already higher bid makes absolutely no sense. Messages should be sent to the guild saying you have been over bid, bids should not be allowed if you are trying to bid low on a place that already has alot of money bid on it.

Say some new guild bids 5,000 gold in Eastmarch. They are now locked in and have just blown their chance for the week. Bids there are 200k or more! They cannot bid else where and being a new guild they dont have the funds to compete with that kind of competition nor do they have the desire to. They were just ignorant to the matter.

2) Player inventory storage does not group items together. For instance, 5 Sanded Beech Wood will not group to 12 Sanded Beech Wood. Same problem occurs with any guild bank.

This is a problem because it drastically reduces the already small inventory capacity. *Side note, items will group ONLY if you spend FOREVER depositing and withdrawing and moving items around from player bank to guild bank and repeating for forever.

HOW CAN WE SOLVE THESE TWO ISSUES? I will be mass posting this if we cannot seem to find a solution. I have faith in you Z *fistbump*

Your faith is misplaced. Zeni has made clear that they're good with the current guild trader system. Mass posting will not lead to changes, only to moderation.

Guild Traders cost a lot of money in some locations, additionally more and more wealthy/organised trade guilds are emerging creating more competition.

You can try organising raffles, lotteries, guild donations to gain more gold for merchant higher, additionally double check the area you're bidding in isn't a hot area or one even in the mid-zone of desirability.

Item stacking in the inventory should happen, the only time this doesn't is due to stealing items then laundering them.

The bank stacking has been a PITA since they changed stacking to overcome the duplication exploit. The only quick solution to this right now is for PC users in the form of add-ons light Roomba.

Lol, i know. I was trying to be nice. They obviously do not care. This whole bidding system is shot.

Im not saying change the whole system. Just add a feature or two.

Be aware they ZOS tend to lock (on these forums) or ignore petitions.

If you have ideas about how the current system could be enhances, write a breakdown of the pros/cons of any ideas etc. they're actually pretty good at listening/reading. A majority of the feedback regarding this issue mostly has come down to "It's unfair I don't like it, change it" without much constructive information.

They have also said that all new content they add map wise will come with new traders (as we saw with outlaw refuges) so over time there will be more locations available to players.

How large is your trade guild and are they selling items which are in demand like nirncrux, upgrade items, popular sets, psijic recipe fragments etc? Generally it's better to build a large active internal trade before moving to selling outside via the merchants, this way you can make sure that people will buy from you store when you gain it.

I would love to do this so long as i know my time is not in vain, would they "ball it up and toss it in the trash"?

    Much needed

^ We currently have 425 members. The guild is less then one month old and has yet to have the luxury of owning a public trader. You would think 125k in a level 9 town that has 0 players would be suitable. Whats the going bid in east-march half a million?! I wish we had some form/way to just know if a bid is over bid or out classed... why miss your opportunity for the week for something so foolish?

Probably that or more. And let's not even talk about the price for stalls in Rawl'kha or Belkarth.

All im asking is for the Z's to make the bidding system slightly more balanced. I have suggestions if they are willing to listen. This current system is infuriating.

Then post the suggestion here or use the games /feedback tool.
Make sure you outline what you current issues are, you experience with them and how you feel they can be improved.
I made a post quoting a CCP games developer about how you should approach a developer back last year at launch, it's one of the best honest feedbacks I've ever seen from a Dev and worth a read. It can be found here: http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en-GB/discussion/98564/how-to-make-a-developer-listen-to-you

Creating a thread saying you don't like the system as it is and making threats to start a mass post campaign or Reddit petition isn't going to sway them to thinking they should read this thread.

You could also PM someone like @ZOS_RichLambert however there is no garuntee he'll get back to you as I'd imagine he has a lot of people contacting him with ideas.
