I've been having this issue for nearly two weeks. Whenever I join a large group to fight in the alliance war, the game freezes and within 20-30 seconds, I'm kicked out to the log in screen. I contacted the ESO Support. First, they told me to delete the ESO saved data, then to change a few things in connection settings. I did as I was told, but nothing worked out.
