I always imagined the Moth Priest to be a staff wielding melee fighter. I understand coding a new class may well not be on the agenda but my suggestions to assist with those who wish to have the ability to RP the poor monk archetype.
Option to Not Show the weapon in hand ... give the illusion of fist fighting
Create some staff skins for two-handed maces to allow us to use a staff as a melee weapon
Have a high end bow have the ability to be crafted with the appearance of a simple bow
Create a costume similar to the prophet's gear
