Give Us Arena! Gladiators Will Fight! Spectators Will Watch!

I was just thinking how awesome would this sound. You are a gladiator fighting either npcs or human players while you have the rest of people watching you cheering you on or booing you.

im hoping it will be the pvp that they add into orsinium (since they added some pve with imperial city dlc lol)
so long as they have a pve free-for-all style one with NPC's and a normal PvP one for players to fight eachother it would be good. especialy if the pvp side is able to instantly port there once they own the dlc, and the pve side you have to do a quest to unlock it

(what i mean by pve free-for-all style is that the NPC combatants the players fight are from all factions. also sometimes large monsters or wild animals. basicaly the Pve side one would be like the side entertainment one or lions v christians ect and executions they used to do, while the PvP side one is proper gladiator on gladiator style)

and dont forget a small gold fee for watching only ^^ and snack stands. sausage on a stick anyone?

I don't think they need it just yet, we are getting IC. There has to be something else for them to add to PvP later on

thats why you have the PvE one where they fight NPCs and wild animals alongside that one. so that if you get a blockfest match, you can watch the player versus mob/npc fight instead.

add a script so that after a couple of mins just using block and nothing else (no damage ect type) they get booted to the lions ^^

aye. and the nord drinking contest that goes on for days over by the ale barrels XD
(they could add a minigame from a long time ago. barmaid braid darts. the drunker your character was, the more the mouse pointer shook as you aimed at the braided hair of the barmaid. your goal was to cut the braids on the target style board, and sever them with your handaxe. it was years ago but it was fun XD)

could hold pie eating contests too for those who prefer comptetetive non bloodsports. button mash your way to victory, but try not to mash *too* quick or get a pie-lock and have to choke your way out of it to keep shoveling pie and win ^^

I would watch and drink and be jolly and all that good stuff. I would also have snacks and start a podcast about which snacks are best for watching.

I say make it a team battle arena, pvp. Two teams of 4 players each, spectators can make bets with npc brokers in who wins.

ah. okay, remember, mead after ale though, and have some sausage ona stick to wash it down with ^^. also, throwing up over the gladiators as the enter is a bad idea..try to up-chuck over the side when they arent there, kay?

It would get boring fast. Most "amazing 1v1 builds!!!" are actually guys holding block, spamming shields, and hoping to wear the other guy down.

Remember, folks, that by the time this would release (like a year or two down the road), they would already be well into the patch that makes stam not regen when blocking. So perma-block builds wouldn't really factor into this.
