    Server performance, without a doubt..

*infinite loading screens(and relentless random loading screens, usually at the worst times possible)
*waiting, waiting, and waiting for NPCs to appear so I can interact
*waiting, waiting, and waiting for enemies to appear so I can finally start fighting back after they attack me
    *random freezes, DC's, lag, etc

    ...

and then there's Cyrodiil.....I don't think I need to even begin listing the performance issues there. Read the forums since beta and you'll get a plethora of issues addressed.

    --

I also wish that they would've actually stuck to their word about releasing content...but as outrageously slack as it has been, I can still overlook it due to the sheer amount and quality of available content included right at release.

    1. PvP Server Lag- Started when ZoS added their lighting "fixes" in 1.2 or 1.3. They gave no option to actually toggle that crud off. My FPS went from 60plus to 30 or less at any given time. Could have 200 people in one area spamming to their heart's content and never had an FPS issue pre 1.2. (Remove lighting upgrades or allow a toggle on/off.)

    2. Veteran Ranks- Remove them and or get rid of the grind involved in getting there. They need to do this for player sanity and to finally have an ability to see how the CP system performs without the taint of VR ranks and the gear that goes with it.

Untrue. I'd still come here and read all sorts of jazz and feel the same way, I'd just be unable to post about it. lol.

I "liked this game". Now im kinda just w8ing for it to become a decent game again.
My head hurts when i try to find reason for the changes zos makes, like cosmetics b4 performance, weird animations that make your horse crazy, just to mention something.
But without really knowing, i assume this kinda game is new to them, and for sure they will mold this game into something much better than current state.
So ye sry qq, but to sum up.. my problem is: the game is getting more crappy and unbalanced from every patch so far.

My number 1 gripe is that there isn't enough penalty or punishment for crimes. Those who complain that there is enough or too much, are not very good criminals and probably aren't the ones who should even be doing these things. Crimes should be high risk, high reward. Being a criminal isn't for everyone, so it shouldn't be watered down into easy mode so everyone can do it. That just makes it boring and borderline exploitable by those who are remotely good at it.

Now if you go and nerf how much you get from it instead of how difficult or how punishing it is if you are caught, then it just becomes not fun and not even worth doing. Again. High Risk, High Reward.

Just because you could put a basket over someones head and take all their things in Skyrim, doesn't make you a good criminal in ESO.

Lack of a working group finder is my biggest issue so far. Group dungeons are the most fun you can have in PvE and its nearly impossible to get a group quickly and even if you do, people don't use mics (console) and often will just drop the group in a minute.

    1) Endless NERFS thanks to PvP whiners.

    2) Group-gated content like Trials and some Vet dungeons and Craglorn quests.

    3) Bind-on-Pickup loot that can only be acquired by grouping.

    4) LFG tool SUCKS, which makes issues #2 and #3 even worse.

    and.... you guessed it....

    5) The despicable Gank'n'Loot mechanic in the upcoming Imperial City DLC.

    My issues with the game?
    • Main quest is forced-solo
    • Two popular side quests are forced-solo
    • End of main quest gets you Sir Pot-on-Head's Silver and Gold, which means you get to fight for the factions you just fought against, and if you've been playing alts, its nothing new
    • Justice System allows criminals too much leniency (Where are the Enforcers?)
    • Grouping in non forced-solo quests can be tricky (other player(s) can be phased out)

That's all I can come up with for now. Otherwise, the game is a blast.

Primarily, That it is Tamriel LIMITED, dang near everything advertised about this game is the exact opposite in reality.
If options weren't necessary, and everyone played the same way, no one would use addons. Fix the UI!

Public & Group dungeons are more like private ones because whenever I enter them I am alone.

I find it extremely difficult to clear them without a buddy, but maybe it's because of the holidays, but ever since I started Cadwell's silver, these dungeons & generally everywhere else is bereft of other players for long periods.

I play on Xbox 1 on the EU server from morning to night every day in the EP faction & I can find very few other players around me.

I'm not blaming anybody least of all ESO. Just saying is all because the game feels "empty" now.
  • Stinknugget
Ill start first by saying i love this game and that these are not complaints but just a few suggestions to make it a little better for me personally.

    1. I wish it was easier to see who is talking at a given moment. I have a hard time distinguishing what person to mute when necessary which averages about every 11 minutes in daggerfall.

    2. Better group communications in pvp. Group leaders should have a channel to communicate with other group leaders.

    3. This should be #1 but i just though of it.... Armor previews! I hate finding a motif, learning a style, finding the stuff, building it and putting it on only to realize i don't like it.

    4. 1v1 stuff. Joust....nuff said.

    5. "looking for group." along with "looking for group?" in pvp.

    6. A server where the players vote for the emperor as opposed to who has the most points.

Thats weird to say.. in a MMO.

But i always feel like im waiting... or rushing. to get things done.

I get ready for an epic fight.. Get there and the boss dies in seconds

Same here. yes, MMO, but it was sold as being able to play how I want.

In addition to the issue you mention, I can be playing my sneaky, poke into every corner style, and three enemies respawn right in my face. Been killed a few times in a dungeon over my level and bad guys spawn on top of me while I'm in a corner or surrounded by a lot of obstacles. There's not THAT many people in a dungeon to not wait until no one is wishin X meters of the spawn point.

Not getting much action isn't too bad because you can run it again when it's less crowded, but maybe just allow 3 or 4 players per instance. Something simple like that. If they control the number of players per instance, they could add some borderlands style difficulty adjustment.

If it helps, I headcanon it as a close parallel universe to the single player games. :)

My #1 gripe, by FAR, is server performance. Between crashes and Cyrodil lag, in can be flat out cumbersome to try to play the game.

I'm fine with, enjoy, or can tolerate everything else.

Bingo, And this company also fails to acknowledge that the problem even exist. But hey, they just made a new DLC and they only need $25 for it. I guarantee you that money doesn't go towards the server. I will purchase it, But that is the last money I throw at this game guaranteed If they don't use the profit to upgrade the server.
