Vampire Eyepatch Question

Hey there, i have a question about the eyepatch you can select for your character. Noticed that when you equip some types of head-gear that your "bad-eye" shows up, so i was wondering if you keep the eye if you become a vampire ?
Also a side note, this character was meant to be a vampire, build-Wise and such, so i'm not considering WW. Just sayin'
