So I went to the Vamp and Werewolf shrine for the first time.

and let me tell you it was such a huge difference. First I went to vamp shrine only to see naked females having sex and giving lap dances to male vampires and one guy screaming he will buy bites. After about an hour someone bit me out of nowhere I was pleased so I ended up paying for someones bite. So I head to the werewolf shrine only to be greeted by atleast 20 werewolves howling and naked players dancing with someone playing sexy and I know it through the mic, it was hilarious. I ended up befriending a wolf and getting a lapdance from her. I never expected to encounter such things in eso but I guess anythings possible XD.

I don't have as much exposure to the vampire community. But, honestly, the game's werewolf community is really friendly. And, I don't mean that as some kind of euphemism.

Werewolves are really friendly. Us vamps seem more dark and quiet. Although there's alot of sexual encounters at the shrine.

One of the funniest things I've seen on ESO to date was last weekend at the Vampire shrine.

With all of the scamming going on, which in itself can be hilarious... and all of the *** talking on mic over there... this group of trolls (the usual american teens) came over all dressed in briefs and nothing else.

One of them pulled out a chair and the others basically started doing all kinds of gay things to him, and of course they all talked about it on mic...

It was funny as hell though, they were doing lap dances and getting some people so mad on the mic.

I'm in AD, so haven't been to Riften yet, but it was hilarious.

Any areas like that where there's a big group of people congregating for whatever reason, is usually a potential troll zone & brilliant for comedy.

I tell them anyway and make sure I read aloud the steps I'm going through to report. You get some kids begging you not to, but it's simply too late

Yep, I believe it... I almost want to buy it just so I can see this in action... Like a Jerry Springer show, awful to watch, but seeing it every now and then reminds you of the things you are happy to not participate in. I'm good for the ERP any day though .

You should also direct them to anyone who has been banned for scamming... Oh wait, that's nobody.

Maybe you should tell them what really happens, that the report for scamming is essentially a "feel good" button which when pressed does nothing.

I've met countless interesting people over the years who have turned out to be console gamers, ranging from Analysts & lawyers, to models and god knows what else. Hell, I even came across a chick in my gym that turned out to be a gamer & knew tonnes about games from the last 20 years.

I don't think I've ever come across a PC gamer in real life.

You should also direct them to anyone who has been banned for scamming... Oh wait, that's nobody.

Never thought it did do anything, it scares the kids enough though so I'll do it anyway. I certainly don't hang around the shrine to report people, I'm normally just there when giving a bite to a guildy

lmao, I can't wait to see this shenanigans when I get to wherever that shrine is at in AD.

As for scammers, they should just turn on the PvP option for people who have multiple reports against them, you could even make it a part of the justice system (or vengeance system I suppose). If banning is too severe to enforce without issue (really, IMHO scamming should be no concern of Zenimax's and perfectly legal), this would be a mild form of punishment. It could be only applied to people receiving large sums of money for nothing in the trade system to prevent the butt-sore from using it to troll people they don't like.

I'm a console gamer too, but never online. There are console gamers, and then there are your online console gamers. The online ones tend to have serious social deficiencies.

ESO - More often than not, on the PC...I've found people in general, to be good people, who say please and thank you. Know how to laugh, and have a good time.

Console...I've tried some online gaming through battlefield, maddens, ncaa sports games...and geez, the level of person I was consistently playing with felt like they had the maturity of a 5 yr old.

IIRC, there were a few bans handed down back in the day over the Vampire and Werewolf bite scams.
