Blood fiend spawns

I know where they are,

But can't seem to make any sense of the timing! Are they like clockwork
or completely random and it is just luck. I have heard about the moon meaning
something but then other say this is rubbish!

Confused???

New moon for bloodfiends, full moon for werewolves.

I.E. Both moons not showing in a clear sky, look for bloodfiends. Both moons showing full in a clear sky, look for werewolves.

I thought the new / full moon spawns had been proven wrong. But I don't know so I will look out for it

The moon phase does not affect when the spawn.

Confusion rules the day!

So it is completely random! Luck of the draw if blood fiends are spawning!

Funny, I've always been able to use them accurately to pick up the infliction I've needed wanted. Just got a new werewolf char on this past Friday's full moon at Reaper's March.

It seems to have gotten random lately at-least on pc, werewolves have spawned during half moons and so on

Same, got my WW at the first spawn I checked during full moons on Friday.

It has been awhile since I've looked for vamps or ww. Back when I was, vamps would spawn about once or twice a month with ww spawning about once a week. If one spawns the other will not spawn, if they are killed they will respawn again if there is enough night left. They spawn in 5 or 6 locations per map, and if you follow the main road, you can see most of the locations. The moon phase does not have an affect on their spawn timers.

Lastly, if you are having trouble with people killing them, go to the VR zones, they rarely get camped there.

There are "naturally" occurring werewolves in places like Bangkorai that do not yield the affliction.

Also be aware that there are people that randomly and purposefully slaughter those spawns for financial benefit.

Explain their presence on a crescent moon.

Weird but I can find werewolf spawn relatively easy but have never seen a vamp spawn. It is definitely random.

There is no timing. Everyone needs to stop thinking that. People have been trying to figure that out since PC release. When they are there, they will be there. It's random when they or the moon comes, and just because the moon is there, doesn't mean they are. They could spawn at any time that night.

Furthermore, people who sell bites kill them. So they might be dead by the time you ever get there.

That's why we run a vampire / werewolf guild. No one sells their bites and we keep it in guild.
