LOL they don't even have GMs the game is devoid of any developers actually playing, well at least that can be seen. TESO has had the least amount of developer interaction in open game-play of any MMO I have played.
That's sort of sad. Do they have ANY events like double XP weekends like other MMOs?

"One time, in Vulkhel Guard..." sounds like "One time, in band camp..."
Yeah, plenty of holidays in Tamriel. I know people asked to officially celebrate some of them right after the game was launched. RPers sometimes do on their own. I am hoping that after things settle down now that the first year since computer launch is done/console launch was pulled off that ZOS might make time for such events. Maybe if we keep asking really nicely it will one day come to pass.I wish ESO had holiday events
Just curious about this, i used to play a lot of Everquest back in the day. Something cool they did from time to time was have GM events. They could take place in any random zone (usually a lower end zone) and it would be some random event happening for a week or so. Example, on 4th of July they made a quest where at the end you got a firework clicky item with infinite charges to just play around with. (clicky item is an item in your inventory you can click and get a result). They had a lot of variety with this and was a lot of fun. Even remember times they had Dueling battles against GM's for prizes, or races a crossed zones.

I was a GM for Everquest and I absolutely LOVED hosting those events. It was really so much fun. I would clue everyone in by typing a server-wide emote and then everyone would start hunting. I remember one of the events I created... I was a little white rabbit that no one suspected anything about. Little did they know I was actually a dragon in disguise. I had the power to one-shot entire groups with my fire breath. It was so much fun! I loved giving away the super uber rare loot.
I really wish there were games that still did this.

Social aspects are what give MMOs longevity. Any game can give you a grind and have you kill stuff over and over. That's how people get burnt out and leave. Giving people something to do besides go grind mobs or dungeons keeps people around.
