Sub forums

In my humble opinion I would like to see sub forums. Well actually for all of the forums but I care more about pop so I am posting this here. New to game and forums so maybe this has been talked about. Would be nice to have a platform - campaign- forum to go to about your specific war and those you fight with or against to talk strategy or post summaries and screen shots.

But yeah also the other forum categories need sub forums for example instead of a broad stroke of combat or class discussions maybe specific class forums.

Most campaigns have player created threads linked to them right now for discussion. A sub forums for each campaign could work but ZOS have shuffled the campaigns around quite a bit already and it would be a lot of redundant sub forums for deleted campaigns.

I beleive @ZOS_AlanG is the man to normally poke about forums ideas as he was the most vocal during the forums revamp, if not... sorry I tagged you!

This forum is an utter mess. So far, I've never managed to find anything relevant to my alliance/server/campaign.

It would take seconds to edit or rename sub forums when the campaigns end or whatever. But just as importantly more specific crafting or class forums would be helpful.

Separate forums were considered for each campaign, but giving each campaign on each megaserver its own section would nearly double the size of the forums available here. Adding such a massive block of forums raises a number of navigation and logistics issues. With so many sections, it’s also likely that many of them won’t hit the critical mass of activity necessary to keep them going.

This being said, we’re happy to make changes to improve the situation here. We don’t believe subforums is a good solution, but are there other ways we could better support campaign discussion?

That was never requested. What was requested is to have one campaign forum for PC/Mac, one campaign forum for PS4 and one campaign forum for XB1. The distinction between EU and NA would be appreciated as well but may be circumvented by having a Mod make a sticky at the top "Thread creation convention - please read before posting", locked with just one thing: Please make sure you lead in you topic line with either [NA] or [EU].

Barring the separation of platforms, this kind of sticky should be made anyways, extending the tagging request to [Region - Platform]. It would be a bit of work for the moderators to go through the first couple of pages to rename all threads accordingly, but then it would also be very apparent for every new forum poster that he has to conform to the naming guidelines.

It would significantly improve the readability. Please consider this, @ZOS_AlanG .

Def need some kind of separation. Came in here looking to do some research for our guild, way to disjointed to be of any use.

Not sure ZOS needs to really be involved in order to fix the issue. Previous to console launch most players adopted using [EU][NA] in their thread titles in order to seperate them. Players could easily continue this with [XB1] [PS4] [PC] as well as making sure to add the campaign they're talking about.

Players also made their own unoffical threads dedicated to each campaign, we have a Thornblade and Azura EU one which is clearly labeled so (though not for PC due to there being no console when released)

The hardest part would be getting players to add these when making threads and most users new to the forums wouldn't be aware of the issue in order to do so.

The other issue with creatiing new forums for them is will the players actually use those forums? Many sections where things should be posted are already missed and things end up in one of the more general sections.

Just use prefixes its not hard to implement. I can implement them on my own guild forums, im sure you can do the same.

No need to give each campaign its own section, just give us one section per megaserver, same way guild recruitment boards have.

Can we get our campaigns stickied at least. Won't take long to unsticky a thread if it doesn't get used.

Each server gets a sub forum with the campaigns stickied or something similar
