They can fight like a man and actually home on that server and care about there buffs and what not.
Meteor lag is easiest way to defeat players, they just farming people, in the tower or wherever they can get a lot of dummies in one spot so they can lag kill them.
Put a 75% less AP on them, this will hit the root of the problem.
Fixing meteor to reduce lag is just a cure of the symptom... Fixing people stacking on a server and people guesting to the most populated server to lag it up for AP farming... That's fixing the curing the actual problem. Because people will find other ways to exploit for AP farming. But as long as they have there safety net buff server.

We have probably 10 videos tonight of us rolling over you guys, and another handful of you simply stacking in a ball on the white dress IN OPEN FIELD to supposedly "reduce dmg". Na, you arent reducing dmg, you are lagging the *** out of everyone else.
We stuck around for one of the lag fights and linked our DPS, I had 64 different player tags. Makes sense why your lead wears the dress, so all the 40+ not in group can follow him. Whisper him, and he doesn't reply. Disgrace.

Have you fought on Azura's in the last two weeks? The blue zerg lag is unprecedented. Nothing any other medium to large guild does unintentionally comes close.
Misfitz do not use meteor, and I understand some of the other AD guilds discourage its use as well. If there is another large raid playing alongside us, we go do something else. I understand that 20-24 VR14's with ample resources using AoE spells in a small area hurts the server but at least we aren't out there not giving a flip about it. What are DC leaders doing for lag prevention?

Is it really a zerg guild while there is a guild on each alliance that trains with 40+ people? you cant call say a guild zergs if they have one group of 24 while another guild has 3 groups of 24 that all run together in a tight ball.

You know GW2 a game very very similar to TESO.
They recognized early that people are just rank farming, could care less if they win or not.
They changed the way you get rank points/ glory points/ AP points..
From farming others... To Actually Winning The Campaign/ Game.
Should take notes of GW2.. They always seem to be 2 steps forward of you guys.
I think ESO has better concept.. But GW2 they way they do things... Always 2 steps forward.

What really boggles me is that this game is more heavy on Magic.
Yet GW2 has something called a Mesmer portal..

I really really hate to agree with you Jules but there seems to be no choice after months of this going on. Their possible "fix" for LOS won't do it since the primary benefit of that will be on battles within keeps. They gave players certain skills that the megaserver and the coding can't handle en mass. Obviously you can't take those skills away now so the only real solution is to fix the hardware/software issues so that we can have many players in the same location doing what was advertised early on as massive PvP battles. I put the odds of that happening now at about nil.

It's not like it's something I want to believe. I just endorse logic over hope in these situations.
There has been zero evidence that anything will be done to improve this lag. They acknowledge it occasionally, and nothing happens. It's been this way for months on end. And by "like this" I mean- this portion of the game is just straight up broken. It just does not function in the way it was promised. You would think this would be #1, top of the pile priority for them. However that's just not the case.
The lag has decimated the pvp community in this game. And their lax response time is just utterly neglectful.
To put it in more human terms, your heart has suddenly stopped pumping blood to all of your other vital organs.
But don't fret, because ZOS will be RIGHT with you in a couple months.

Because they cannot fix the lag... to fix the lag, you would have to cut down the ability to spam skills... that means you would have to drop regen and hard cap it at 600 with 18k max and add Cooldowns to skills...

i was there on Azura when your guild laged the server at Alma ruma temple.The server lag not cause that you are using meteor, its lag cause your blob zerg stack on crown and spam AOE.
