Just curious when the next full moon & new moon will be taking place.

Dont know if anyone is or can track this but if it is possible would be an really awesome thing to know.

No point. It's so back logged due to you all not spawning blood fiends and no one is helping others without pay. That thread is as useless as trying to get bitten legit. Fix your game.

What is broke? The spawn times? They are pretty much a rare spawn that only spawns once in awhile. I have had the time to hit vet rank 3 get 2 characters bitten by bloodfiends and another bitten by a werewolf. They do spawn, there is nothing broke with them. You just need to do work, stop hanging out at the shrine begging for bites...

Nothing broken here, so nothing to fix.

As for the spawns and why they are rare.

The dissease is something that is designed to be spread from player to player. It is an MMO and that means that this element is designed to be something that you obtain from others. The function of the spawns is NOT to help you bypass the need to get a bite from other players. It is to have a rare and luck-based way to ensure there will always be werewolves and vampires in the game.

This said, it is not true that it is tied to the moons. The way the spawns work is simply unknown. There are rumours that it has to do with the moons, but those are not confirmed. Also, much of these rumours are over a year old when the PC-game launched. It seems there has been made changes to the spawning system since then. The PC-community just stopped investigating cause after a few months it got very easy to get a bite from fellow players. For example. My vampire on PC hasn't bitten any players for the last 3 weeks. Not that I don't want too, but nobody in my guild wants one (atleast not in my alliance).

So, while it is possible to get a bite from an NPC, you need to be lucky and there is no garanteed way to do so.

Now the way to get a bite from a player.

First a very harsh statement. Werewolf and vampire on the console is way too overhyped. It is not something you need from day one to be succesfull nor is it something you should seek from day one. It is something you get from others.
By seaking desperatly for a bite and paying for it you actually slow down the process of spreading the dissease.
Why?? the people that benefit from the hype are the ones offering the bite for money. They don't want it to spread. That is why they often don't deliver (scam) and go hunt down the spawns. It is bad for bussiness to actually infect people.

That is also the reason why it is way much better to seek a free bite and also bite people for free once you can. This isn't hard, but it takes just time (and guess what, instead of wasting your time and frustrating yourself at a shrine or possible spawnarea's, you actually get to play the other 99.99% of this game). the best method is to join a guild of vampires/werewolves on your alliance. They bite for free, but will have a list to decide who is next. So you might need to wait.

The thread mentioned by the admin is also a good way, just know it isn't a garanteed way. it is actually better to follow it and see when people offer a bite there and be quick.

So stop frustrating yourself and the process of spreading and accept that it takes time. That way you contribute to a faster spread of the dissease (making the traders powerless) and also make your gaming experience a lot more fun!
