High CPU usage lately!

I know there was an older post about this and I didn't research every post, but recently I have noticed a huge increase in CPU usage from the game. It gets to the point where it bogs down my Turbo charged i5.

Sometimes the game will spike to 60-70% CPU usage. This can't be normal or expected(?)

It appears this game is more CPU demand than GPU because my GPU hardly breaks a sweat and I have 16 gig or ram that is hardly used.

ESO won't use much RAM, as it isn't designed for it.

Yet it uses a huge amount of CPU on one core. If you wish, you could find out which core it is and overclock it to Oblivion.

But it's more an optimization problem...
I also found out that /reloadui by time (which unfortunatelly means every half an hour for me) drastically decreases resource use of the game.

Good to know I will give that a try
