the game needs 1 or 2 extra slots in the ability bars

    Honestly I've always found the 5 ability slot thing kind of odd, they say its about making choices but I don't find making decisions out of combat interesting. Having a larger toolkit available and making proper decisions from there in a fight or executing a proper rotation with more abilities is far more interesting to me.

    Personally, I love the idea of more. I come from another game that basically gave you endless ability hotkeying, so while I am not asking for that sort of freedom, I feel having to swap between for 5 abilities is quite annoying. Why not make it just ONE ability bar of 10, but still allow the weapon and ultimate swap to occur.

    because youre asking for a brand new can of worms as well as balance issues and all sorts of new "Such and Such is OP" complaints.

    I kinda have to agree 5 skills is pretty underwhelming but it also would drastically effect builds when considering passives.. maybe if this was unlockable at high CP ranks or something as a reward for reaching max strength?

    Kinda funny I was showing a buddy in another MMO screenshots of ESO trying to lure him over with promises of awesomeness and the first thing he asked was, "only 5 skills at a time?"

    Personally, I don't want to see additional active skill slots.

    I would, however, like to see a segregated slot for abilities that are either toggled, or can be utilized exclusively for the passive benefit. Examples of this would include things like Bound Armaments/Aegis, Magelight, Evil Hunter, etc.

    The additional slot would be similar to the ultimate slot, except it cannot vary on each bar. In other words, if you put Magelight in this spot, then this slot is Magelight for both bars.

    Additionally, the skill in this slot cannot be activated/cast for any active component. For example, if I slot Magelight here, I retain the passive benefit on both bars of increased magicka and/or reduced damage from sneak attacks, but I cannot activate the skill to empower or expose stealthed enemies.

    The impact of this change doesn't hit every class with the same level of benefit. As such, I'm always open to suggestions for tweaks or improvements, and expect there to be people who disagree, which is fine. However, it does open up a variety of options in all forms of content for all classes to some degree - even something as simple as not having to put Evil Hunter on both bars (and doing this would also eliminate the issue of Prophecy/Savagery being nullified by potions, when the skill is only on a single bar).

    This change alone would open up a minimum of 1 active skill slot for the vast majority of the player base, which doesn't seem like a lot, but one skill can go a very long way.

    Agree, I hate that toggles actually take up two spaces because you need to have them on both bars.

    My other complaint is that switching is not always responsive. :(

    The limited number of abilities is one of my favorite things about the game. It's one of the few ways your choices really matter.

    Plus, with the pace of incoming damage and the need to be kiting all the time, my fingers can't even keep 5 straight. I fire the wrong ability pretty constantly as it is. Those games with large numbers of abilities really only work when the pace is slower than ESO.

    Get AUI Add on. It wont let u add skills but you can get an extra bar that allows fast food/potion/drink/scroll/costume/mount etc to left of your combat skill bar, its really handy.
