- Adding two VR ranks (15-16).
- Making larger delves and Craglorn with more XP/reducing XP per veteran rank.
- Nerfing Bolt Escape and damage shields.
- Nerfing perpetual roll dodging and perpetual blocking,
- Buffing a few class abilities such as giving another morph to stam sorcs and taking away the cooldown on Toppling Charge for Templars.
- Making changes to the Battle Spirit bonuses for Cyrodiil to try to help with health levels going up and down too fast in Cyrodiil (less damage, more health).
- News about Imperial City coming in two weeks.

Nerfing bolt escape / damage shields / roll dodging and blocking??? Did they go into more details how they are going to do this? Now this part is interesting
Yeah, I should have put them all on the same line. I was thinking it would be a nerf outside of Cyro unless the damage shield reduction is limited to that zone only, but it does fit in PvP with the other changes.ThatHappyCat wrote: »Damage shields aren't really nerfed, it's -50% to all damage, healing and shielding in PvP. So the overall balance of damage shields is unchanged.
And roll-dodge has a similar scaled cost, increasing 33% (is that right?) each time so that used in rapid succession over and over it becomes really expensive.Akavir_Sentinel wrote: »ItsRejectz wrote: »tinythinker wrote: »Greywolf_McGrowler wrote: »I don't have time to watch the whole episode so was wondering if anyone could summarize what was talked about?

Bolt escape costs 50% the first time you cast it, then 100% the next, then 150%, then 200%, then 250%, etc.... So sorcs can't bolt escape infinitely into the distance without being harmed.
No stamina regen while blocking will put a stop to the perma blockers. This is more directed toward PvP, but unfortunately will affect PvE as well.
The finally decided to make NB Agony a useful skill by ... wait for it ....

...
...slightly increasing its damage scaling.

Anything mentioned about console versions and what they are doing to improve the console versions? This all sounds for the most part stuff for the PC version.
Everything mentioned above affects all platforms, I'm not sure what you're talking about.Anything mentioned about console versions and what they are doing to improve the console versions? This all sounds for the most part stuff for the PC version.

The only thing that really was PC was the PC patch talk. Apparently, no patches for Console are planned, or able to be announced, for next week. I guess Consoles got surround sound audio updates and PCs got that in the latest patch.
Everything else was cross platform, as far as I can remember.
I'm unable to work up outrage for the v16 announcements, or for having to grind for a day or two and get new gear for my v14s. Am I doing it wrong?
