Greetings friends!
I just wanted to drop in, say a quick “Hello” and introduce myself officially. I’m not a huge fan of long drawn out speeches or great walls of text, so I’m going to keep this short and sweet.
The facts:
I normally lurk on the forums pretty regularly – expect to see me out and about a bit more often.

The facts:
- My name is Rich Lambert and I am one of the original founding members of the studio.
- I’ve worn a few different hats in the 8 years I’ve been at ZOS. I was the original Dungeon Lead before I moved into the Lead Content Designer position. Now I’m the Creative Director.
- As many people noted in their sleuthing yesterday, I was a producer on Fallout3 and Oblivion before moving over to ZOS in 2007.
- I’m a lifelong gamer, love RPGs and have particularly soft spot for MMOs. (thank goodness my wife is as well!)
I normally lurk on the forums pretty regularly – expect to see me out and about a bit more often.

PS - nice that your wife loves MMOs. I'm lucky to have one that understands I need some time off at night playing silly games which is not a given if you allready have a 60+ hour/week job. So a big thank you to our spouses ;-)

✭✭✭✭✭I mentioned this yesterday, but I am really excited that the Lead Content Designer got the promotion into Paul Sage's spot. The people that corporations put into leadership positions usually give us more information than 100 press releases or Ask Us Anything sessions. It would not make much sense to put Rich in charge if the company's main focus was cash shop fluff. I think you promote the Lead Content Designer when leading the design of new content is going to be the skill the company needs most going forward.
Make great things happen over the next 6 months, Rich. You have the opportunity to swoop in and be our ESO hero! Don't blow this opportunity! :-)1 -
