Must a lion be a predator or can they go full herbivore without killing other animals?

I use a Bow when I hit level 5 I paired it with Dual Wield. I start most fights with a sneak attack with a Bow and then use Magnum Shot to keep them back. When they are finally on top of me I switch to Dual Wield and use Dark Cloak to get extra sneak damage. So I make high use of the sneak but it doesn't control my battle.

How do you switch weapons at level 5? Did you forget to put a 1 in front of the 5? :)

I'm liking my dual dagger nightblade so far. I forget the ability names but I use the teleport, power attack, then the stab, then the rapid stabs from dual wield and it finishes off most basic mobs.

Sneak, ambush, surprise attack, deadly blade for the kill and heal then shadow to sneak and repeat always from behind and they always dead. Every attack kills everything in one or 2 quick hits then back in shadow and hide repeat. I've killed 6 mob groups in all vet dungeons in 6 to 12 hits solo to kill them all every time with Stamina NB.

The only sneak bonus nightblades have is when we strike from stealth we get a longer stun. That is it. All of the crit can come from other sources for other classes. I use two hand I can things really fast because I have high burst damage and high crit with out stealth. So you really do not have to do stealth at all since you can be a healer nightblade and a tank night and still be effective.

Actually if you morph the cloak ability, it's guarantee's the next strike will be a critical attack after using it.

I play a DW Bosmer Nightblade and I can kill just about any normal mob in 2 hits. I ambush in and use wrecking blow and they die, it's that easy. With elite mobs it usually takes about 6-7 wrecking blows and they die. For AOE I just spam brawler and I can't be killed because of the shield it gives.

This is a little demonstration video of a stealthy nightblade I recorded way back in my noob days, pre-1.6. I desperately wanted to play the stealthy rogue/dual-wield daggers style. I leveled the whole way through non-vet with this build, and it was effective, because of stealth.

I've yet to scratch the surface on crafting and not sure that I'll be able to master it after seeing the research time numbers.

Maybe I'll luck out and find someone who will craft things if I provide the materials or something.

While my nightblade can sneak, I've never really found it necessary to unless I'm fighting something with an exceeding high hitpoint count (like, say a Daedroth? or the occassional boss). What with the health absorb (I use the one on in the Soul Trap tree as well) I rarely need to. I do like to backstab the guards though.

Yes. Nightblades Must Sneak. It Is The Law.

If you don't, the Nightblade Police will come for you in the night and backstab you for quadruple damage.

Yeah. Lol.. The quadruple damage NBs are better than the normal triple damage stealth crit NBs. I am screwed especially since my main is mainly a magicka NB that sometimes does the lame stamina thing until my second Vr4 NB gets to Vr14 so I can start playing NB not the "wrong way".

Stam NB players are quite a species .

which is the right way again? I have 2 v14 nb's one magika one stamina.

Funniest thing i saw was a NB attack an NPC in a room and keep using his stealth to try and leave the room, ofcourse as the NPC was still attacking it wouldn't let him leave.

I WAS helpful, i said in Area Chat that he should try attacking from stealth with daggers, not try attacking with a bow from about 2 feet away

Apart from that I had my coffee and watched him have his butt handed to him on a platter.

Well 2 coffee's to be honest as it was a veeeery slow death for him :-)
