Your ESO Endgame

A large number of the playerbase (myself included) are brand new from recent console launch.
I've been having a blast with the game so far, to me it's basically like Skyrim but with my friends and random people who like to play their fan into the mic.

My immediate goals are to become a Werewolf (because of how fun it looks to play one) and obviously beating the main story lines (Harborage, Mages, Fighters).
Ultimately though, I want to get to the point where I can take part in the high-level dungeons. Not that much interest in PVP though.

Now I know some of you are into Role-Playing and other activities---so what's your ESO "Endgame"?

    Your endgame or reason to play the game should be to enjoy the leveling process and go slow and smell the roses. As far as traditional "endgame" MMO progressions, they don't really exist here so most people at V14 either PVP, compete for a spot on the leaderboards, or roll an alt and start over.
    I'm kind of a small deal!

    Pvp is the end game... But it not really like your traditional pvp ... It's group oriented is based off a great model for merging pve and pvp DAOC...

    After a long way through main story, cadwel silver, cadwel gold and craglorn, my end game currently consists out of:

    1) pledges - less frequent lately since I maxed out undaunted but I still run certain dungeons for the helms and run vet pledges for the shoulder pieces;

    2) getting the remainder of the achievements;

    3) trials and DSA

    4) Cyrodiil - often overlooked by PvE players - there is alot of PvE stuff to do in Cyrodiil so even if you don't like PvP, I recommend completing that zone as well;

    5) waiting for new zones / dungeons to arrive - when that happens - 5) will likely become 1) for a certain amount of time again.

    Perhaps I should rephrase.

    I'm not asking what THE endgame is for this game but what YOUR endgame is. Your ultimate goal. Your way of playing.
    What you plan to do.

    DSA = Dragonstar Arena

    It's a 4-man, 10-stage dungeon and has a normal and a vet version. It's pretty fun. And you have a chance at a Master weapon at the end.

    My end-game is a bit of everything. Crafting, dungeoning, pledges, a little bit of PvP here and there, completing achievements and questing. There's a lot to do and I'm interested in too much stuff.

    I hate end game, after pveing to get to 50 your rewrarded wuth more grinding, and then are also nerfed in pvp making it where you need to grind a lot to be even a bit viable in pvp.

    That coupled with the crashed, lag, errors, and random 15gb patches which didn't seem to do much is making me thinking of just dropping the game.

    My endgame was cancelling my sub and not playing for a few months, then my endgame became levelling a bit of alt and doing writs. Then my endgame was complaining about lack of a decent economy. Then my endgame was playing FF14.

    I can almost guarantee my ESO end game is alts...lol...I have 4 characters now (2 in mid 20s, 2 < lvl 5)...with more ideas for builds beyond those 4...

    I guess on the characters I get to max level, I will PvP...but I see my self leveling and building many characters. I do that in every game with flexible builds (Armored Core, Diablo series, etc)...

    My endgame is basically alt leveling (1 to go!) via questing, pledges, writs, the odd trial and the odd VDSA. That being said, the sheer boredom of alt leveling has sort of put me off for now so I'm on a temporary hiatus until I'm motivated enough. When I return I will more or less focus on getting the last alt up to VR14 while doing the odd achievement on my main, it's quite a daunting process. I have no interest in PvP just yet and will probably try and farm master weapons if possible.

    VDSA and normal DSA is quite fun, challenging and a good example of PvE, that being said, the rewards are random and if the RNG gods hates you you'll end up loathing the place.
    Dungeon-Crawling can definitely be done via the daily pledges and perhaps running through once purely for the skill point. Once you max out your undaunted skill line there's almost no reason to do the silver daily pledge though, but eh.

    Fishing is.. a pain, it's going to be the last lot of achievements outside of PvP based ones I'll complete on my main.

    Right now my endgame is to reach VR14(currently VR10) and become as good in PVP as my VR14 guildmates. When I can get to 10:1 kill ratio, I'll be happy.

    Agreed. I've recently been doing a lot of PvE in Cyrodiil. I have virtually no interest in PvP, but it sure is fun to do PvE in a PvP zone. I like the added element of danger - especially when you're doing it solo (although it sure is nice to be in a group sometimes). Soloing a dolmen deep in enemy territory is both nerve-wracking and exhilarating. Having said that, I'm very glad that the vast majority of the PvE in the game is not in a PvP area... I don't always want to be looking over my shoulder in case there's an enemy player around.

    I've completed what's in game about 8 months ago. Waiting for something new to be implemented.
    Since then I lazily level up an alt. Lazily because the game became so easy I can't resist playing it for more than 30 minutes.

    Oh yes indeed - clearing an entire dolmen solo only to be ganked at the end by an AD player who was watching me the entire time lol. I guess the loud drop of chains slamming into the ground may attract some attention. These type of experiences can be frustrating for a second or two but it ads a certain thrill to the game. Going deep into enemy territory is a fun thing to do.
