OP kind of suggest he was Asian, but you have a point. Although, the creators of the ES world copied some cultures and races and mismatched them randomly together (like Redguards have Arab culture but happen to be some kind of Black-Caucasian hybrid).
It just so happens they left out many human races like the East-Asians (although it seems like they're more Akaviri) and for some reason moor/gypsy culture was applied to the catmer, with the occasional, odd slavic accent thrown in haha.
Anyway, there should be no attempt to "equally" incorporate every human identity group into a fantasy world setting. People whine about that too often nowadays under perceived oppression or something.

yeah but so am I (on paper anyway - dual citizen in HK), but that doesn't mean I think the game should emulate real life. It's fantasy - knock yourself out! Let the imagination run wild (provided its within the scope of Lore)
Have to agree. While I'm all about racial and cultural diversity IRL, so far as we know it doesn't exist in Tamriel (even mixed marriages don't produce hybrid kids - they come out one or the other - which makes no sense, but anyway...).
....well, until we get the Akaviri brought into the game anyway. Remember all of this takes place AFTER 2E 430, which if we go by lore, the Akaviri only stepped foot in it after the Raid on Morrowind in 2E 572.
So the only way I could foresee them introducing that race is if they actually opened up the Akavir Continent as well..
..ooh that's giving me ideas for DLC!
i always thought the Dunmer were the *nod* towards an asiatic culture, you could even go so far as to opine that all the mer are asiatic.
Wood elves are S/E asian tribal
Dunmer Japanese
High elf classical era chinese
((I am half chinese.))

ha what? I'm not gay, I just like creating different kinds of characters. All of the human races and cultures in games are based on real life and I'm pretty sure the Akaviri are "asian" as the Japanese inspiration is obvious.err.. this is Tamriel not Planet Earth.. why do characters have to emulate Earth humanoid traits?

Has anyone made a successful asian looking character? If so can you kindly share a shot of them and what race you used to create them?
I attempted to do it with a Breton as I was able to make an asian looking Breton in Skyrim but I ended up with a guy that looks like a prettier version of myself with a better body and different beard style
I see a slight Cao Cao thing to him but I'm not really satisfied with how he turned out...we need a face sculptor added to this game to correct mistakes instead of starting fresh.
