Asian characters?

Has anyone made a successful asian looking character? If so can you kindly share a shot of them and what race you used to create them?
I attempted to do it with a Breton as I was able to make an asian looking Breton in Skyrim but I ended up with a guy that looks like a prettier version of myself with a better body and different beard style


I see a slight Cao Cao thing to him but I'm not really satisfied with how he turned out...we need a face sculptor added to this game to correct mistakes instead of starting fresh.

I might just delete and start fresh. I was going for a poor martial monk healer thing so I didn't think he should look all scarred and mean like my other characters but he's way too pretty for my tastes.

Doesn't look Asian at all, just an Eastern European from the nose, eyes, and forehead.

I don't think you can pull off an East Asian in ESO.

Yes, I have a Ninja named Tokine Mugetsu. She is a Bosmer dual wield NB. Unfortunately she is also on the Xbox and I don't know how to get a screen shot of her. However, the Bosmer lend themselves very well to Asian features and if you make the ears as small and close to the head as possible and a longer hair style they are very convincing. Keep the eye slant and a slight squint, use darker eyes and the warm skin tone. My NB does not look like some caricature out of some old Hollywood movie either.

High elves look like some really exaggerated mix of European people, with only their eye angle looking sometimes east asian when they're slanted.

But like somebody else said, Bosmer would be the only thing closest I think, but still pretty far off.

Bosmer is your best bet. Short, slanted eyes, round face, jet black hair, and you can get a yellow white effect on the skin.

I feel like such a racist. Disclaimer: I grew up in Japan and love Asian people of all nationalities (better?).

Looks Russian not Asian lol btw your best bet may lie in creating a high elf but with any luck when they release the barber shop it contains 10x the options because it is sorely needed.

Another way to let people look different ( seen so many wearing the top chest dragon tattoo that it makes me want to remove mine lol).


This can be said for

Racial qualities i.e Asian Brenton
hairstyles i.e mix and matching top and bottoms
scars: like tats: Size/depth/location
body hair
etc etc etc etc etc endless list it comes down to what ZOS values as worth while my hope is that they consider these options even if we must suffer a crown pay wall.

Nothing racist about it , I love the jet black hair and slanted eyes , always have , whole reason I traded in for an Asian wife ( Laotian )myself

Thankfully she'll also do the blue hair at times too.


This actually is the first game in a while I can't make a character similar to her , obviously easy in Lineage 2 , Aion and Archeage , but even in most NA ones I could pull it off.

If so then Telel thinks that perhaps someone got what they asked for, just not what they thought they were after.

Eh? The Kamal only invaded about 10 years back ESO time and there remain sufficient numbers of them in 812 to seize the throne. We also have a fellow who claimed to learn Dragon-magic from someone who was half Akaviri which suggests the Tsaesci still have a distinct population as well. So they could probably have the (human) Akaviri as a race sooner or later.

Yes but the OP I'm assuming is specifically referring to East-Asians (Japanese/Chinese/Korean)

Oh nice I love to see loremasters. The Kamal are Akaviri or the same race? I don't know much about lore, but I just thought the Akaviri got wiped out and absorbed by the vampire snakes you mentioned.

I should say Asian Features much like we did in Skyrim still not all the way.

Plus it would be a nice feature for our Asian community and normally i am on the side of Lore protection.
But seriously it all went out the window a long time ago and will only get worse, best to curve it before the rainbow unicorns and pixie dust come to the game.

Yes/no/kind of. Akavir is a continent like Tamriel is; it has more than one country and more than one race/species living in it. Kamal and Tsaesci are two countries in Akavir.

@Moonscythe A bit off topic, but what I do to take an in game screenshot on Xbox is double tap the home button (I think its called.. the big round one with the X in at top of controller) then hit Y. From there you should be able to upload it so you can access on your computer..

If there is a contemporary 'asian' race in Tamriel, let them be introduced as a separate people, with thier own racial passives - like Redguards, Bretons, Orcs, etc.

I doubt new races will be introduced in this game because they aren't in any other Elder scrolls games which are set in the future.

You didn't read any of the stuff on Bretons, I take it. They're Altmer/Nede crossbreeds. Also Cassynder was a human/Dunmer crossbreed and he aged more on the human side. So it isn't as clear-cut as 'mother was race X, therefore child is race X regardless of father.'

Honestly I think it should be a debuff if you have show helmet turned on.
