My level 2 enchanter needs Jeras for the writs, but most of the time will get Jejoras, Odes, and Tades instead.

See, the game knows that. That is why you don't get the Jera's. Once you stop doing the writs, then that will be all you get...

    True...sad, but true.

I was popping ghosts in Auridon this weekend (chasing the Monster Hunter achievement on one character who is close) and pulled a Jera from a Potency node up there. I thought of you. Anyway, it was in the north middle part of the zone where the L8 to L12 mobs are.

Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

Gary Gravestink "I am glad you died, I needed the help"

I say keep the hirelings. You get so many extra skill points, especially post 50. I am at a point there isn't anything else that I would want which is why its ok to get the hirelings.

I actually got 4 Jera from an Enchanter survey in Grahtwood this weekend. I had two surveys, so decided to make the trip (it's a rather inconvenient location, unlike the Alchemy survey). The second survey gave me 2 Jode and 2 Notade. Ah well, still got 4 Jera!

I was just out of the Wailing Prison with my latest (old lady orc raised in Orsinium who remembers the good old days when everything was two miles through the snow. Uphill. Both ways) and wandering around in Stros M'kai I picked up a kuta. Freaked me right out.
Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.
    ***
Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

Most of my mailbox is hirelings mails. I cant get myself to delete them. My favorite is the Blacksmith one, Aksel Rockbiter. His head hurts....

Must be a blacksmith thing. My favorite hireling is my blacksmith, Valinka Stoneheaver. She likes to get in trouble with Orcs, and always ends on a cliffhanger. I look forward to her letters every day, haha

I love my hireling. Also how do I do the equipment writs? I've been certified or whatever for the black smithing but don't know where to actually get the writs

And one more question, what is this passive yall are talking about for getting 2 mail a day of hireling stuff?

There should be a board in every major city that gives you the writs. 2 boards, actually: one for equipment writs and one for consumables writs. The boards will have quest giver markers over them.

The passive that gives you 2 hireling mails per day is the same one that gives you a hireling in the first place - that's just the improved version of it after you've leveled your crafting skill enough to put 3 skill points into it.

Just wanted to add that the writ boards are located near the crafting stations, so check near the smithy for equipment writs and near alchemy/enchanting for the consumable writs.

Also, the boards will only be in the capital city for that zone, so Davon's Watch in Stonefalls, for example, as opposed to Ebonheart.

As it stands right now, I've put all points to focus in on combat but I will consider everything posted. Eventually, once I have enough points to spare, I'll definitely think about investing in the Hirelings.
