We Need Faction Changes and We Need Them Now

That's easy for someone to say, when they play 12+ hours a day

For normal people that have jobs and responsibilities, it's not realistic to think they have more than 3 hours per day to play. Even then, you're claiming they need to play under perfect conditions, Cracked Wood Cave duo, with XP pot, to achieve this time. It's just kind of crap, and it takes the average player a lot, lot longer than you claim.

The time investment isn't even the most difficult part, it's the mind-numbing boringness of it. You can only grind goblins for so many hours before your determination starts to waver. It's just not reasonable to expect people to grind mobs over and over for 50+ hours just to get a viable character in another faction.[/quote]

Then why are they giving us 8 character slots if us as a community only wants to lvl 1 character to max level? And I have a family, a full time and part time job and am still able to care for everyone along with level my now vr9 character to that lvl wI thin 5 days. I know that's not the number range I stated. But with the amount of teenagers and adults with no life in this game, it can easily be obtained faster. And grinding with 1 other person in a party with you grants extra experience. You can also marry the person for the buff. You can get up to a 70% increase on xp.

I've just reached vet on a DC I rolled purely cause PVP is pretty much dead now days, everything is red or yellow. Zergs everywhere. Unless you wanna gank as a DC it's pretty much not worth playing unless ZOS does something and does it soon.

I've leveled v1 - v12 in Cyrodiil exclusively, even had early days when I've managed to do almost one vet level per day solely from killing other players. But nowadays, my DC char takes ages to level up. Why am I even here, back to grinding...

Yup, and many AD and EP wonder why DC hates zergs so badly.the outnumber faction has no tools to fight the zerg, which is why im such a proponent of better siege. most AD and EP have no idea whats its like to have fought outnumbered in every campaign since last August...yes nearly a year we have been outnumbered...most EP or AD would have quit the game already if they were in our position where nearly every keep battle is 20 DC vs 40-50 Reds or Yellows...imagine dealing with that nonsense every day for nearly a year, with useless siege and zerg blobs that charge right through it.....and they wonder why DC is dying more by the day.

I like his idea too but I don't know why players should pay in time, ap or crowns to fix ZoS' poor design. If the players have to balance the game to make it playable than they shouldn't have to pay for it.

PvP is quiet right now because there has been no new content for over a year and no rebalancing in over 4 months. No population likes being told they should wait for another "game launch" before their devs will remember them. A combination or boredom and resentment. The only true solution is another rebalancing for a minor population comeback and new content for major population combat.

ZOS has made so many mistakes and it's hurting the numbers.

Which is why you only allow someone to change to a faction that has less population on that campaign. Lock it out for a day so it's not a long term thing, but don't allow people to switch whenever they want. The incentive for switching is the 20% AP bonus, and having more enemies to kill. There are a lot of days where PvPing as AD is almost impossible since you have to choose between lag fights or a campaign you dominate. If we could play on an underpopulated faction that would be a welcome change of pace.

A lot of ep would refuse because they intuitively know they can't play solo or in small groups without their humongous zergs to back up their big talk. I know. I know these guys. I have seen their fragile egos first hand.

Sure, and there are other things to think about like kill trading, emp flipping and more that might not be too easy to enforce. There is room for a lot of exploitation without some thought given to the matter. Maybe instead of an up-front cost, a long cool down would work.

That is an excellent refinement. This might work.

Of course, it appears that ZOS may be severely resource constrained, so this is probably a complete waste of time.

to me DC is the only faction without an organized, 2........ or more...... really......... organized, guilds. EP has multiple as well with ad (if trying to throne and dethrone), i.e zerging the past week (from EP), which has been going on lately. people won't go to another faction if they've spent so much time on there characters *cough* cough* EP........................... no other faction has achieved so much over a smaller time... and I wonder why.... what is it 7 generals if not more? really so much hate over two colors? you know you are worse then a bull... and have a problem with the world if you think your winning in life with this mentality....
