Psijic Ambrosia Drink... Bound?

10 writs (all maxed provisioners), zero recipe fragments. What stroke me even more that only got 1 blue recipe and 1 set of purple mats out of the 10. Pretty sure it used to be much better rate than that... Maybe it's just not my day.

Skinned around 150 fish, got 2 roes.

Of course the interesting equation will become how much time will you need to spend on a non-XP generating activity like fishing to generate the potions and could you actually have gained more XP by simply grinding at base rates of XP instead of fishing? :)

Glad someone else joined me in seeing this obvious and ridiculous situation.

This will become a way for no-lifers to make vast amounts of gold to add to the vast amounts they already have, further forcing up prices on rare commodities as the Trader prices adjust. And let's not forget of course that this is a 'clever' way for Zenimax to either force casuals to buy from the cash shop (as they will be priced out of the ingredients or finished potions market), or should casuals actually spend their limited hours playing FISHING, for them to be left even further behind in the CP race the no-lifers grind to win.

Poisonous, divisive, game ruining rubbish should it be implemented this way...

Got 3 perfect roes out of 423 fish, so that's less than 1% drop rate in my case. I think I can live with that, since farming fish isn't that hard (all it takes is time and bait, which is pretty abundant).

Recipe pieces seem a lot worse since you only get 1 try per day. Did 14 provisioning writs today, most of which at max level, and didn't get a single recipe. Let's see how it goes tomorrow :)

ZoS, please make it not boost CP leveling, XP is fine, no doubt there needs to be a faster way to level characters for those who wish to. faster leveling of character in no way affects other players. However, are you now telling me that in order to remain competitive and on par with the people who have the time and mental ability to participate in the most boring aspect of your game, I have to either join them or cop out a crazy large amount of gold to get this boost?

I also like how you insta nerf grind spots that would be getting you 1mil xp an hour or whatever it may have been, saying ohh thats too much, but now that we have to pay you for your drinks to to allow us to get that much its completely fine....smoooth.

Um xp is CP leveling....I'm confused. The only time you get a CXP boost is when you're enlightened.

Makes sense, almost have to, otherwise you have the "Moon Die Tick" effect where everyone funnels XP potions to one player so that player is playing with +50% non-stop.

Really doesn't matter though, perfect roe is tradable. And if you have people helping you with perfect roe, you'll have people helping you with receipts.

There will be players with an insane amount of CPs very soon....and that's sad.

Me thinks a lot of you don't have very many champion points....it's a system based on diminishing returns where one point is 1%, then .5%, .3% and eventually .1% meaning 10 champion points in a node is 1% gain. So having a bunch of champion points just means you're branched into more things and you pretty much hit build optimal at about 100-150 depending on the build where your characters function becomes sustainable.

True but then the target is the 75/120 passives, not the actual bonus it gives direct on the actual skill :)

Yep, and many of the people complaining that XP potions should not apply to CP points are going to be the same people that once they hit V levels, will be complaining that XP potions don't affect CP points.

You haven't played a character with 3,600 Champion Points have you? Each point adds a very small amount to your base stats and gives fantastic passives along with increases to pretty much everything.

Pop on the PTS, make a character with 3,600 CP and put on the gear they give you (which is useless AA/HRC/SO gear, not very good in the current meta) and do something. You will stomp everything. In what amounts to the best gear for Sorcerers that can be currently obtained, I can do 20k DPS on some mobs in Reaper's March and a 3,600 CP Sorc in terribad gear does that just by weaving medium force pulses, it's a huge increase.

Well, I just saw this in a guild store, so I think it's pretty safe to say that it's not bound.

It isn't bound. There are people who start this sort of rumor to devalue the ingredients and recipes in the hope of fooling others into selling them cheaper than they would have otherwise done. Ignore.

Well it wasnt a rumor. We saw it linked in chat. When I clicked it, said bound.

The question has been answered though. Its not bound. That makes me happy.

Yeah, no kidding. This is why people rushed to buy up recipe fragments though: so they could gouge people early before it becomes more widely available.

But the question remains!! Focus people, focus! lol!

Are the XP drinks seriously bound???!!!

The CRAFTED item, Psijic Ambrosia, for Experience increase is -not- bound and is able to be traded among players. As was stated in last Thursday's post announcing the recipe by @ZOS_GinaBruno

The CROWN PURCHASED Experience Scroll is bound, and not able to be traded between players and will not be released until 18 June.

Thanks but it has already been answered lol! And yes, I did read the patch notes, always do and they specifically did not state that the drink itself was tradable, hence the question.

    It involves Fishing????

S.o.A.B. That is the Worst, Most uninspired part of E.S.O.

I can hear the Crown Store registers ringing up their sale from my house: 2000 kilometers away.

Ah-h-h-h, I knows what is up.... Just another "GREY AREA"..... Not really " PAY to WIN", but awful close.
Just another Type of " TIME SINK".... along the same lines as the EXPERIENCE BOOSTERS; soon to be released in the Crown Store.
Pay to advance or put in the MASSIVE amounts of time required to be competitive......

    Schitty!!!

Damn! I almost gained back my respect for the ***.

NOTE: just got home from out of town work. That's why I am so shocked!!!!
