Character names? Why bother?

Okay so anyone else a little cheesed by the fact that the name you choose for your character isn't being shown but your PlayStation ID is? It's actually quite useless to even have the ability to name your character, like seriously, why bother. Please change this somehow if it is at all possible. Seeing my gamer tag instead of the name I gave my character really ruins the immersion aspect for me.

My boyfriend and I each have characters under his PSN ID, so it's a pain that our characters both show up as his ID.

I wonder how many other people are sharing the same PSN ID like we are and are running into this problem?

Also, not everyone's PSN ID is as cool and RPG-ish as they would want it to be for better immersion in the game. Boo.

That's what I'm sayin! My psn id is cjohnson888. My first initial and my last name. Not to mention the fact that when you say it, it doesn't sound too appealing hahaha lol. Not cool Bethesda!
