A good game, even a decent game will have strong players taut work to figure out the best builds and gear. They are important to the game. For the most part it is through them we figure out how the game is designed to work.
With that, there are always moderate and casual gamers and ESO has always had a good share of them. Even when you left there were plenty of moderate and casual gamers. They make up most of the community.

I am definitely not a power gamer. I play for fun (not that power gamers don't). I take the time to listen to and/or read quest dialogue. I check out the random notes found in delves and around the world to understand the backstory of those places. My builds are partially based on what's effective, and partially based on what I just happen to think would be cool. How my characters look (including their gear, pets, and mounts) is important to me, because each character has to fit the concept I have for that character in my head. I enjoy various social activities with my guild (including fishing).

I don't think I've seen a single one that isn't. Heck, farmville and the like are played by businessmen who use them as market tools and such.jenwa72ab14_ESO wrote: »MrHemlocks wrote: »I left ESO a few months ago because of what it became. Pretty sure any online game mmo or not will have this issue.
