Ebonheart Questline - "Warning Davon's Watch" quest not starting?

So I apparently finished the quest "Breaking the Tide" in Bal Foyen after fighting General Vette. I didn't actually defeat him since I died during the fight and the quest apparently finished for me.

I understand I am supposed to be prompted for this next quest upon receiving my reward from Centurion Mobareed, but for some reason, he hasn.

I noticed while looking for answers everywhere that this bug has been around since last year, and now its carried over to consoles...? Why hasn't this been fixed?

Does anyone know of a workaround to this?

I've also relogged several times and I am still stuck in limbo here.

Did you ever get this fixed? Also experiencing the same bug. Bug Report in consoles doesnt seem to be working, so I've been on hold with phone support for over an hour. I also sent an email right now too. Hopefully they can fix it.

Ok my pretties,

I have discovered much to my frustration, after a couple hours of useless troubleshooting, that the quest is not bugged. You cannot pick up the quest from either the Centurion or Darj, because you most likely already have a quest in your log called Legacy of the Ancestors that you picked up in Davons Watch. The Warn Davons Watch quest is just an introduction to this next quest. You can either skip the introduction, since you don't really need it, or drop that quest from your inventory and you will be able to pick up the intro quest from either of the above NPC's.
