That um..... sounds much more like a glitched reading number than accurate queue numbers. I'd be surprised if they actually have that many people playing the game on just one of their 6 megaservers. If each megaserver actually has a queue of 510,000 on it, they'd have 3,060,000 people queuing to get in the game, not counting the people already in the game.

I'm pretty sure that ESO's population count isn't that high, even with console release. It's got to be a glitch misreading the actual number.

I am getting a little frustrated myself. The queue I get but then the tease of loading and then booting back to the main screen saying "unable to connect to server. Make sure your internet connection is valid." (or something to that extent)

It was working fine a couple of hours ago. I'm pretty sure it's not my connection...

PC was like that for a while during the Beta test then when it launched they just removed the login queue. I wonder if console has a weird login server problem because of XBox live etc...

Give it a week or two, the "elite" players will speed lvl and then hit the dead end that is "end-game". Once you're able to log in, I suggest highly that you sit back, relax, and just enjoy the game and don't try to get to Vet in 2 days. There is so much to see and do throughout the 1-50 process, and the story is really enthralling.

Last night my position was 1 with 1 second wait one time and 300,000+ with a 1 second wait another. Both wait times were around 30 seconds. I think the numbers may be a tad unreliable.

Listen to this person ^ This game is most CERTAINLY not a race to cap, when you get in just enjoy the game... play it the way you would a single player game that happens to have other peeps running around.

Actually it might be accurate. I'm at 561,162 but the numbers keep jumping around.
Even if it's off by 200-300k the console is far more popular than PC on week 1 which is crazy!!!

Seems the large number in queue is population (591,234) 2nd number is queue position. Most of the time it just says one this time it seemed to work.

Finally got to the character screen hit B picking up the controller, got sent back to queue!

Eh. I can understand why they may not upgrade the number of servers until after the initial launch period. Even if its popular enough that half a million gamers are trying to log in (if the numbers are to be believed) on PS4 alone. Once the launch period is over that number will definitely balance out as the newness wears off. Im sure PS4/XB1 will have a larger pop then PC on average. But I doubt ZOS will be forced to increase the servers load capacity to accomodate it.

Yeah went from pc to console and man I don't see any improvement with the servers. As soon as I log in and move my character I get booted back to the start menu and have to wait another 10 minutes. As of now this game Is non playable.

Fixed that for you. The game is laggy for me, but its not bad enough to kick me and its observable in areas that are highly trafficked.

The few issues Ive had with this game on Console mostly revolve around design choices. The bugs and issues have been mostly non-existent or easily understandable.

Thanks but no its not my connection as I have no problems playing any other game online for my console or pc. Seems like too many players in one area as it's happened a lot to me when I first played eso on pc as when this was released, seems like they never tried improving their launch since they didn't learn from pc.
