Do I have to buy the game again to play on PS4.

I bought the game for PC back at release and with the new console versions I was wondering whether I would have to pay the full price for the game again to play on PS4 or whether it would be free for me as I have already bought the game for PC. Thanks

    I'm sure as stuff dies down they will put something in store so people can transfer. It was 20 dollars when they offered it as a special one time deal a year ago so am sure it will be either 20 or a few dollars more in future.

    Yeah, you have to rebuy the whole game. PC, XB1, and PS4 are each their own separate setup. No transferring or crossover, and as such, each system needs its own copy. The only exception was for people like me who bought the PC game during a certain window last year and qualified for a console transfer, where they copied your PC characters over to a console of your choice, but even that cost a discounted $20 for the console copy.

    You have to buy it again.

    If you did buy the game at release - you would have been able to sign up for a discount version (a year ago) - but that is no longer available.

    You have to pay full price, unless you find it on sale. You will not be able to share, or transfer, characters.

    I can see why you would be disappointed - but then again, It's not really any different from any other game...

    If you bought the PC version on launch last year then you should have had the ability to purchase an XB1 or PS4 copy for $20 which included a copy of your characters to the console version you purchased. They had sent emails to those eligible and it was on the website, launcher, forums, etc... so they offered a cheaper price for a month to those eligible.
